About the host
Hosted by Lea Byrd

I'm a news publisher that travels a lot. I know what it takes to be a good host, because I know what I'm expecting as a guest in other home rentals. I love children and animals, so my place is a welcome space for the little loved ones in our life. I'm also a cook, so you will find every utensil you need to whip up whatever you want in the kitchen.

What makes this property unique
I think the biggest benefit is the view. The view of the skyline during the day is rivaled only by what it looks like at night. Any time of day, it is stunning (given there are no clouds).
My husband and I actually wanted a traditional, Brooklyn brownstone property. The realtor insisted we see this place. And although we already had our minds set on something with historic architecture and did NOT want modern, we let him bring us to this building. Long story short: we came up to the apartment and took one look at the view, and we were hooked! Goodbye old architecture; Helllllllo NYC skyline!!!!
