About the host

Hi there! I live in the beautiful mountains of WNC with my husband and three lovely daughters. We are budding homesteaders who love to cook together, garden together and hike. We haven’t traveled much lately as we have been building our family but we look forward to exploring the world again very soon!

Why they chose this property

We have opened a local market and cafe just a stone's throw away from this home, and it has always been our favorite house in the neighborhood. One day out of the blue it came up for sale, and we knew we had to jump on it. The previous owners did a lot of renovations to it, and we invested into even more renovations and making it a truly unique home with lots of interesting art and furniture, and rich, historically appropriate paint colors. We are so proud of what the house has become now and hope to keep sharing it with travelers for years to come.

What makes this property unique

The photos speak for themselves! This historic home is absolutely gorgeous and truly feels like you're stepping back in time.
