High Mountain Mist is a luxurious four-bedroom cabin located in Starr Crest Resort. This beautiful cabin is the perfect retreat for all types of getaways — family vacations, honeymoons, and anniversaries. It sleeps 14 guests with five king beds, a twin bunk bed, a futon, and four bathrooms.

The Space: High Mountain Mist lives up to its name with spectacular views of Mt. Leconte, which can be enjoyed from all three decks. Inside, the living room is a relaxing space to fellowship, share stories around the beautiful stone electric fireplace, and watch movies on the large flat-screen TV.

The highlight of the cabin is the fully furnished, generously stocked, newly remodeled 2024 kitchen. It features new hickory cabinets, black cosmic granite countertops, soft-close drawers and doors, and new appliances — perfect for creating delicious meals for the whole group. Dining areas allow for eating inside or outside on the decks.

Outdoor Living: Three expansive decks wrap around the cabin with rocking chairs, porch swings, and a private hot tub — all offering breathtaking Mt. Leconte views. In the summer months when Dollywood is open, you can even watch the fireworks from the front porch!

Entertainment & Amenities: High Mountain Mist provides plenty of entertainment for the whole family with four flat-screen TVs and a game room featuring a full-size pool table, air hockey, and a 60-game-in-one arcade system.

Location: The cabin is only six miles from Dollywood Theme Park and Dollywood's Splash Country water park. When Dollywood Park is open, listen for the train whistle! You're also just minutes away from other attractions in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.

Feel free also to enjoy the resort's seasonal (mid May - mid/late Sept) community pool, pavilion, and playground.

Please note: The cabin is supplied with linens and bath towels. We only supply a starter set of paper towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, dish soap & liquid, and bath bar soap. You are then responsible for said items during the remainder of your stay.

**To finalize your booking with Red Door Getaways, you must sign a Rental Agreement and provide a state or federal photo ID. We will send you a link to our "Boarding Pass" guest portal via text message, where you can securely upload your ID and a matching selfie. Once these are completed, you will receive access to the property guidebook. Your reservation is confirmed only after we receive the signed agreement and valid ID.**

What an amazing week we had. My family of 9 adults and 3 children had plenty of space. The view is spectacular! We enjoyed many mornings and evenings on the back porch during this time we also enjoyed the wildlife. We enjoyed watching the groundhog that has made a home in the backyard, on 2 different days we had a visit from a bear, and we also saw squirrel, butterflies, birds and even a turtle. Lol My Grandkids enjoyed the pool and playground.We had rain one day so they enjoyed games and hot tub. This home was in a great location during our stay the guys went golfing and the women went horseback riding. We visited Dollywood and Splash Country, We also played Putt Putt got ice cream and shopped at the three bears store. This will definitely be a vacation we will remember. Thank you

Wow, what an amazing stay! We booked this cabin last minute, and it ended up being absolutely beautiful and perfect for our family. We were lucky enough to see a mama bear with her three cubs, a rainbow, and so many incredible mountain views! The views are unobstructed by trees, and you can even see The Island in Pigeon Forge off to the side.The cabin itself was so much fun. We loved looking at all the unique decor, and there were plenty of towels, blankets, and pillows. The pool table, air hockey table, and arcade system kept my kids entertained throughout our stay. One of my favorite features was that every bedroom has a door leading out to the porch, so no matter which room you’re in, you can step outside and enjoy the beautiful views.The bathrooms were very nice, and the cabin had plenty of dishes, cookware, and cooking utensils. I would recommend bringing a few essentials, though, such as a sponge, laundry pods, shower necessities, coffee, food, spices, and anything else you normally like to have when cooking.The directions and instructions for everything were pretty straightforward. The only thing we couldn’t get to work was the fireplace, but that was a very small issue compared to how much we enjoyed our stay.We had such a wonderful family trip and would absolutely stay here again!

Great stay, beautiful cabin!

We loved this cabin! Tons of room for our extended family to spread out. The kids loved the game room in the loft as well as the hot tub. We also enjoyed the area pool and playground. Very clean, would definitely stay here again!
