Amazing stay!

The property and view lived up to the hype! Sitting on the balcony every morning and watching the sun rise and listening amd seeing the waterfall made for a perfect weekend! Would definitely stay there again!

The fan in the bedroom did not work!The light in the bedroom only worked briefly!It was said that a table was scratched by us, which is not the truth at all, we did not damage the coffee table that was there!No shampoo was provided!

A wonderful weekend!

The place was great. We enjoyed seeing the falls from the balcony. Had dinner outside. It was great to have this location as a base to explore. You're near Cashiers and Brevard for food, hiking and more. Thanks!!

A piece of paradise!

The condo was amazing , it had everything n then some , the waterfallfrom the back deck was absolutely breathtaking , I couldn't wait to get up in the morning n just sit out on the deck with my coffee and listen to the waterfall as it cascaded down hundreds of feet of rock ! If u want a beautiful place to stay, this is it!! You will not be disappointed!!

The Barrow's Den

The accomodations far exceded our expectations. The unit was imaculate. We actually loved the waterfall so much that we didn't want to leave the condo. Michelle, the property manager, was very responsive to some new tv adjustments. We will go back again and again!

Sister getaway

My sister and I came here as kids every summer until we were 15/16 because our grandma owned a condo here. We came back after twenty years and it was magical. This condo gave us all the amazing views we remember. Thank you for the amazing trip down memory lane and the opportunity to create new memories

Absolutely Amazing

This property was even better than advertised. The view of the waterfalls was absolutely amazing, and the sound of the rushing water was so relaxing. Michelle, our property manager, was the most kind and courteous person I've had the pleasure of working with through VRBO. The property was not only very clean and organized, but it was also extremely well decorated and felt very welcoming upon our arrival and throughout our stay. I'll definitely be a return visitor.

Girls trip

This place was amazing! We couldn't have found a better view of the falls, trees with their beautiful colors and the sunrise/sunset are undescribable with so much beauty. Everything you need is there. The place was clean, easy to get in and out of. Saw one white squirrel the day we arrived but if you travel to Brevard into the neighborhoods, we got to get numerous with great pictures. Thanks so much for the many memories and laughs that were made this past week. A Bryan

We celebrated our 40th anniversary here and loved every minute of it! The condo was exactly as described and the view and sounds from the balcony were amazing. We also enjoyed the company of a white squirrel, who hung out on the porch with us each day. The place was very well-equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The bed, living room recliners, and porch rockers were all very comfortable. We appreciated the brochures and books on the area and the falls.Communication with Michelle was excellent. She called us ahead of time and notified us of an issue with the ceiling fan, but we told her it was no problem and didn't need it fixed during our stay, though she offered.Things we did that we highly recommend: eat at Los Vaqueros and Villa Amato in Lake Toxaway and Whiteside Brewing in Cashiers. Take the easy hike to Whitewater Falls - amazing! Hike to the bottom of the hill at the condo and enjoy the different view of Toxaway Falls. Drive to French Broad/Cathedral Falls and splash around in some "cool" water.We can't wait to go back and stay longer to explore a lot more of the area.

Nice Mini Vacation

We stayed here for four days and had an amazing time. The check-in process is was easy and the property was clean. We fell asleep each night listening to the sound of the waterfall! Waking up each morning and seeing the sunrise was incredible! Everything was provided including: spices for cooking, extra bed linen, and towels. There were only two drawbacks: 1. The bed frame was loose so it squeaked every time we moved in the bed. 2. The Keurig only uses K-cups. If you are bringing coffee do not bring ground coffee beans, only K-cups. Other than that, the stay was amazing!!

STUNNING VIEW

How perfect! We went on this water falls chasing vacay and lucked out with this super private condo set up. The advertisement was an understatement to the property. This place was better than expected. The view is so much better in real life. Maybe I’m biased because we through a dart, at the area around Pisgah National Forest and Blueridge Parkway. We got so lucky to land this place last minute, I was hesitant, but it was clean too. Don’t hesitate…. Just go here.

Beautiful as always. This is our third or fourth trip. Always a quiet peaceful place. The only downside is the Keurig coffee maker. We enjoy a full pot of coffee in the morning. Thanks.

A wonderful escape

We enjoyed our weekend in this little slice of heaven. Communication with the rental liaison was easy, she answered all of our questions. We enjoyed the sound of the spillway and it provided some neat shots with the mist. Access to the property was easy, aside from navigating the popular restaurant parking lot that the driveway connected to. We enjoyed the proximity to some beautiful waterfalls and there is a trail that will take you to the base of the spillway directly in front of the unit. Our favorite part was relaxing on the deck. It was therapeutic! The kitchen was decently appointed. Bring your own Kurig cups. We enjoyed the Roku TV. Very easy to operate. We really enjoyed our stay!!!

I visited on business. I’m a realtor in town who frequently travels between Fort Lauderdale and North Carolina. I always enjoy staying here, especially when I’m at the falls. The one-bedroom apartment was a lovely stay—very clean and comfortable. I look forward to coming back soon.

I am a native to this county but grew up as a military child, spending my teenage years in Germany. I have an extremely large family on both of my parents' sides, have two grown sons, and have three of the most loving, generous, and beautiful grandchildren a Mimi could thank God for. I love the mountains, the mystics of the waterfalls, the trails and the camping experiences of the wild. I love to read, swim, picnic, horseback ride, and of course, being from here, I love the ocean and anything salt water. The Lord definitely made sure I was of multi-interest and adventurous. I am dedicated to every aspect of my life, as God has blessed me in abundance of all. I am here to help if you need anything during your stay, committed to making your stay as memorable as possible.

Why they chose this property

I love the beauty & serenity found here and the view of the endless mountains - the smell of the fresh air, coziness you feel, and watching the waterfall just outside the back door is a thrill. The excitement of various animals that show up from time to time on our deck is amusing. A restaurant is just up the hill when I want to take a night off & chill out. The 2 towns close by are really excellent to visit & has lots to offer. There is much to do here wither you're an outdoor person or not. I like trail hiking & my husband likes golf and we both like sight seeing these parts of the mountains. It’s hard to tear ourselves away from the condo because it’s so peaceful & relaxing. I’m sad to part when it's time to go home but it gives me something to look forward to when we return to the "Barrow's Den in the Smokies."
