About this property
Charming 2 bed Bungalow in Historic neighborhood!
Centrally located to parks, library, a 5 minute walk to the Nine Rails Creative District, which hosts Ogden Contemporary Arts, Dumke Park and a hip WB’s Eatery restaurant, with the most centralized patio in the district. Catch a drag show on Saturday nights at WB’s.
We are a 10 min walk from Historic 25th street, where you can find many bars and restaurants ( check out Pig & A Jelly Jar), 5 min drive from Ogden Botanic Garden and 10 min drive from Pineview reservoir. Walkable neighborhood.
The space
Our house was built in the early 1900’s and you can see the charm throughout the house. The house is a triplex, and the upper floor and the basement are rented. Tenants are quiet. You can park on the driveway or in the garage.
The Madison, as we call it, is very charming and spacious! We kept the original doors, doorways and windows. The house is very living room has a flat screen TV,a comfortable couch and a bar, filled with non-alcoholic spirits, and mixers and we have recipes to get you started, making great cocktails and you will come back from your vacay with the #hometender title, with great simple cocktail recipes to impress your friends!
The bedrooms are across one another and provide privacy for the guests. There is a door between the living room and the other side of the house and that provides privacy as well - if someone is watching TV, they can close the door and whoever is in the bedrooms, bathroom or kitchen won’t hear them.
Both bedrooms have a queen bed, comfortable mattress and bedding.
One of the bedrooms has a TV, an office desk, a chair, and a spacious closet with hangers and a basket for dirty clothes.
The other bedroom has a small desk and a spacious closets.
The bathroom is roomy, has a toilet, a bath tub with a shower head, one sink, mirror and a spacious vanity with a hair dryer and other amenities we provide such as body wash, body lotion, mouth wash, etc.
Our kitchen has everything you need to cook. We have a Nespresso machine with a frother and coffee pods. We also have a pour over and a regular coffee machine so you can make coffee whichever way you prefer!
We have a full size washer & dryer in the laundry room and the upstairs tenant has access to the laundry room and there are laundry hours. There is a door from the kitchen to the a laundry room that can only be locked or unlocked from inside this unit.
We have built a small dog park in the front of our building with a trash can and poo bags so you can pick up after your furry kid! There is a park right in the corner of Madison and 24th street and it makes it for a fun time for dogs!
We have a scooter guests can rent (driver’s license & proof of insurance required), we can also stock the fridge and schedule a cocktail class on-premise or virtual.
We offer a welcome meat & cheese board and non-alcoholic wine, non-alcoholic beer, RTD's and elixirs at an additional cost. Please email us to arrange for a welcome Board and a Bottle.
Airport pick up is available for an additional fee. Please inquire via email for availability.
We will help you plan your stay if you’d like help. We live in Salt Lake City and have businesses in SLC and Ogden and have spent a good amount of time exploring and we love to help people fall in love with Utah!
We do not allow parties and we ask that you respect the space and the quiet hours as one of our renters works from home!
We own a few restaurants in SLC and Ogden and if you stay a minimum of 3 nights we will offer you a $20 gift card for the restaurants!
Thank you for considering staying with us.
Reach out with any questions!

About the host
Hosted by Viviane Wanderley-Britt

My name is Vivi and I am originally from São Paulo, Brazil. I've been in SLC for 10 years. I moved here for my corporate advertising job from PHX and fell in love with the city and state!
My wife and I have been together for 7 years. She comes from the restaurant industry and I left corporate in 2021 to join her to grow our businesses. We own Pig & A Jelly Jar, WB's Eatery and an e-commerce site. Giving back to the community is important to us and through our businesses, we donate fresh cooked meals to Volunteers of America on a weekly basis.
We have a fur kid, and we love traveling. We love exploring SLC, Ogden and Utah in general and love exploring the US and the world. We travel as much as we can. we stay in hotels, rental properties, our camper. We love being by the water and around nature. That's how we get to disconnect and recharge. We are in the restaurant industry so needless to say, we explore and try different culinary. We love Michelin star restaurants but we LOVE a great hole in the wall in a neighborhood!

Why they chose this property
We love this property in Ogden. When it isn't booked, we usually spend half of our week there just because it is peaceful, close to our restaurants and we can walk everywhere. It feels like a staycation for us. Our home was built in the early 1900's so it is an older home, full of charm. The original wood is beautiful and you can see the home was built with love and it is a solid home.
We take very good care of our home and we ask everyone to treat it as nicely as they treat their own home.
We built a dog park upfront for those visiting with their furry kids. The backyard is spacious, and has different areas to lounge. The main unit (which is the one you will stay at, has a large porch with an outdoor couch. When we stay there, we like to sit up front in the morning to have our coffee while our dog plays in the front yard).
It is a triplex and my sister works from home and she rents the basement. She is very quiet, clean and helps maintain the outside of the property clean. We have a tenant on the second unit (which is the upstairs unit) and he is one of our managers and a quiet guy. He's healthy, has a dog and always has a smile on!
We want you to feel at home away from home!
The house has great energy and it is peaceful. Great for you to relax, work, or just be!

What makes this property unique
We own restaurants and we can arrange to deliver meals throughout the week. We will include a $20 gift card for our restaurants for those who book at least three nights. You can catch a drag show or a jazz band at WB's Eatery.
We have a non-alcoholic bottle shop within one of our restaurants and therefore we can stock the bar and even arrange for a cocktail class (additional fee).
If you'd like to add flowers for that special welcome, or add meat and cheese boards or sandwiches, you can just email me and we'll arrange for that (additional fee).
