Welcome to our countryside bungalow. Our little retreat is located behind our main house with it's own private parking area. It is tranquil and relaxing with a great location right off of 35W, close to dinning and shopping, and only 10 to 25 minutes to all major attractions in Fort Worth. Enjoy the beautiful sunsets and wide open spaces from the back patio, or relax inside in peaceful serenity. Cook up something fun in the brand new kitchen, cozy up on the sofa bed and watch your favorite show on the ROKU, or slip off to sleep in memory foam bliss on the brand new queen memory foam topped bed. The entire place is yours.

For pets, we allow dogs only, no cats, or other animals. Please add your pup to the reservation to see the pet fee for 1 dog. The pet fee is per pet, per night with a maximum of 2 pups. If you have 2, please let us know, as I will have to send a separate charge for the second pup. We also have some house rules for pups, so please reach out to us with any questions.

This place was perfect for me to come and rest! It was very quiet and the host was great and responsive! I did get a little warm in the bedroom but I got a fan and kept the bedroom door closed during the day when I wasnt in there and was fine. We’ve been having triple digit heat for weeks here so It wasn’t an unexpected thing for me. This was a solo trip and I felt completely safe in the location. The WiFi worked well I was able to work with no issues. If you have anything delivered to you such as groceries just make sure you are clear about where you are located in your delivery instructions. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent stay!

Lacey has an amazingly comfortable little bungalow, and it was so easy to settle in! Everything I needed was there. I was in town for a week for work, and being able to come back to this every night made my stay perfect. I hope to be back!!!

Peaceful and quiet

Was very clean and quiet, We loved our stay here, it had all the comforts of home. We hope to rent it again on our next visit. The only thing it was missing was a grill on the back patio.

Great little place! Small but cozy and had all the amenities for a comfortable stay. Really appreciated the private back yard for morning coffee. There was a problem with the TV, but the owners were very quick to respond to us and had it replaced the next day.

This property was outside of the busy city but still close enough to some restaurants and grocery stores. I didn't realize upon booking that there wasn't central heat and air. Our daughter was staying on the fold out couch in the living room and the window unit is right next to the couch. In order to keep the whole unit cool we had to keep the bedroom door open and the ac running at all times. She was freezing and we were sweating. It was very humid in the unit. This is also an animal friendly unit so we kept getting smells of stale dog urine in the bedroom. Other than that it was a cozy rental with a decently furnished kitchen.

Convenient to Cook Children’s

Property was just what we needed for a last minute stay. Our daughter had an early morning procedure the next day at Cook Children’s and the location of the rental was great. I loved that parking was no problem, check in was super easy and communication with Lacey was great as well. Overall a great stay and would totally stay here again!

Cozy, clean and quaint

The bungalow was perfect for our visit to Ft. Worth. We were only 14 miles from downtown and the surrounding (very nice) neighborhood had everything we needed close by. The bungalow was just as advertised. Clean, quiet and cozy. We will definitely stay here again. Very satisfied. We had zero issues.

Stayed for a Trip to Fort Worth. Traveled with 4 adults. Location was fine and getting to Fort Worth was simple enough. We have a Crew Cab 4X4 Pickup and Parking was tight, but we managed. Communication with the host was good. She was quick to reply to any questions through VRBO messaging.Upon entry, the residence was clean, but did have some dirt/stains on the baseboards and did have an unpleasant odor. The odor was not overpowering. It also felt humid inside and the window unit did not seem to be performing very well. Thankfully, it was not hot, so we managed.Opening the back door, I seen the pictured Privacy Fence was gone, and only a small section of grass was mowed with the rest of the area with tall grass/weeds. Thankfully we did not bring our Dog as we had first planned on.The wifi and Roku TV worked great and the bed was comfortable. The Sofa bed was typical for what you would expect.Overall I consider this stay okay, but, will probably look elsewhere when in the area.

The property is fenced off and private from our front house with its own front yard for private parking, but there is over 100 acres behind the house, so we mow our property, but it is not fully fenced and opens to the countryside. It does say this on the listing. You should see that from the photos as well. I am sorry you did not have a level 10 stay, we wish you luck for your next trip.

Comfortable and definitely met our needs

Property was as described, slept great in the bed, perfect couch for dogs and human. Read the fine print on what is provided. It is stocked with most necessities except shampoo, shower gel, and paper towels, but plenty of shopping all around. The cottage is behind the main home but it felt private and also private parking. Backyard fence is in good shape so small pups can’t escape. It backs up to a field and we did hear coyotes during their mating season, it is their land too, be mindful of empty fields. Recommend this rental .

Disappointed

We came down for the St Patrick’s day parade. So being spring it’s still cold in the morning. This was a converted shed that had no heat. I finally found the space heater packed away in the closet when we were ready to leave. This property is also at the end of the driveway by this person’s house. They were having a party out in the yard and being very loud. The bed was just a cheap thin mattress on a basic metal frame and it was not comfortable. We paid 420 for two nights because we had our frenchies with us. It was overpriced and I will not ever stay here again.

Hi there, we are sorry you left such a sad review. I hope it is not because you wanted your pets to stay for free. We are very competitively priced, especially for bringing pets. Our home has never been a shed, it is a small house with a regular heater, as well as a plug in heater for extra cold winter freezes. We would have been more than happy to help you use the heating unit if you had communicated with us. The mattress is a regular queen mattress with an additional 4 inch memory foam topper, everyone has their own preferences with beds, so we are sorry you would choose to describe it dishonestly. We reviewed our camers and did not see anyone in the yard, so we are not sure where the loud guests were coming from. We would have been more than happy to help with any concers if you had reached out to us.

We love the charm of this home! We bought this property from the original owner. He actually built the house himself. The guest house was one of the main reasons we wanted it. We love the location, the privacy, and the country feel. It's like a secret little oasis, close to all the cool things you want from the city. So we bought it, and we poured our heat and soul into it. We completely remodeled the kitchen, and bathroom, and added all the things we like to have, like a washer dryer, dish washer, sink disposal, patio, and all the little details that make it feel like home. It is a private little oasis, designed with love.

We love the location! Fort Worth is such a great place, full of history, museums, fun attractions, events, shopping, and great food! You will be close to the Stock Yards, Texas Motor Speedway, Roanoke the unique dinning capital of Texas, Grapevine the Christmas capital of Texas, and all the amenities you could ever need.
