Miniature home away from home
We very much enjoyed staying in your cabin! Your attention to detail was amazing and greatly appreciated. We have rented numerous in Maine and yours is by far the best! We had a snow/ice storm and we were nice and warm and cozy! No problems getting in and out thanks to your prompt removal. We are looking forward to coming back!

Great secluded cozy spot
Great maintained property, plenty of fun things to do. Very secluded in in the woods but not too far from town. Loved staying here and would love to visit again!

Rustic camping on private pond
Great spot if you are looking for glamping right off the highway, private area on a pond with great kayak/canoeing/paddle board options! Cute concept with what they are building for walking distance spots for campers- loved that idea! But need to know *no* running water or showers on site-also no spa or hot tub as listed, which I was hoping to use and relax. It is solar powered for small items. The cabin is small and has lots of clever items you may need arranged creatively in the cabin! Great communication with owners. Would have been perfect if we had fall-time weather as we hoped, but was too hot and humid for us, too much for our old pup so had to bring him home, and wasn’t fully what I had in mind. Good overall and still an experience.

Unique and fun place!
Loved staying in Roxie the tiny cabin. It was outfitted with many thoughtful and useful items, powered by the sun, and just perfect. The kayaks and other water equipment were a huge plus and the special areas of the property like the pub and pizzeria were creative. My dog and I will be back for sure!

Sherri and Joel are life long Mainers who love to share their piece of this beautiful state with others. They build tiny cozy cabins with all the essentials, treat the earth well and waste nothing.

Joel runs a nonprofit for Veterans, a portion of your stay will go to create an opportunity for Veterans to reconnect with each other and provide support to Veterans in need.

Why they chose this property

With nearly 100 acres, this land provides enough space for exploring and adventure. There are activities: kayaking, canoeing, fishing, hiking, snowshoeing, cross country skiing...and many opportunities to simply relax.

The trail from the cabin to the water is marked with reflectors and headlamps are provided for a nighttime walk to the water.

The Pub area is also lit up for night time walking. At the pub, you can light a fire in the chimenea, sit and enjoy a beverage (you'll have to pack your own), play a game of cribbage or connect four or lay in the hammock and enjoy the peacefulness of the Maine woods.

The Pizzeria is a destination in the woods with a woodfired oven and table for dining. Treat someone special with a dinner in the woods!

After dinner - check out the Axe throwing area! Axes included!

What makes this property unique

Our tiny house allows for an off the grid living experience in a comfortable setting. Turn down service and lots of extras that make you feel at home. The location is wooded, but you can access it in your two wheel drive vehicle and still use your cell phone! This getaway is a relaxing Maine experience that gets you into nature at an affordable rate without having to sleep in a tent!

Sherri and Joel live nearby (approx 15 min away) and can be reached when needed!
