Great location, amenities were too notch, communication with host was quick and effortless. Everything we forgot to bring was provided at the house. Entry was quick and easy! If I was asked what could have been better or what needs improved, I wouldn’t have anything to say. Will be staying here again in the near future! New favorite!

Excellent home

Wonderful home with good location for us. About a 15 minute ride to Siesta Key village/beach area. Nice quiet neighborhood. I love how the owners decorated in a way that made you feel you were on the beach. Close to shopping. I have zero complaints only high praise. Would stay again in the future

We Are Very Happy Repeat Guests!

We enjoyed our 7 week stay last year so much that we came back this year for another 7 weeks, and hope to return next year for even longer. The house is accurately described in the ad and located in a quiet residential neighborhood with numerous local ethnic restaurants in walking distance. Both the owner and property manager were immediately accessible to deal with minor issues that came up, which they promptly resolved.

Light and Airy, Nicely Furnished, Convenient Location

The house was freshly painted with new kitchen appliances and stylish furniture . The beds and living room couch were very comfortable. There are a number of neighborhood restaurants in walking distance. The large fenced back yard was perfect for the dog. The neighborhood is quiet. We enjoyed it so much we extended our 5 week stay by 2 additional weeks after we got there.

Christmas in Sarasota

This is a great location with easy access to shopping and restaurants. We weren't in Sarasota for beach activities, but if you were looking for a convenient place for a beach trip, this would make a great place. Host had beach gear for use. It has an open kitchen, roomy bedrooms, nice bathrooms, and two living spaces. Very clean. Being pet friendly was a nice bonus so family could stay with their pet. Large backyard and walkable, quiet neighborhood. It was a nice place to spend Christmas with family.

Rats in the house

A few hours before arriving to begin our 2-month rental, the owner informed us the house was being treated by an exterminator for mice. However, we walked in to find rat traps, one with a huge dead rat, and rat droppings all over. The exterminator came over the next 5 days to treat for the rats which we could hear running around in the attic above the bedroom. If we had been told the house was being exterminated for rats, we would have cancelled the contract, and asked VRBO to find us a different property. I don’t know what the owner’s review said about us but this was our 3rd long term rental of this house and we were excellent tenants. In fact, he just asked if we wanted to rent next year.

What a joke. This guy knew in advance that we were dealing with a rodent issue prior to his and wife arrival. We have proof. He and his wife have been excellent tenants for the past 3 winters. He's retired and needs a hobby or something b/c every time I've had workers there to do work he's following them around which annoys the workers (they've told me so) He knew in advance that we had a rodent issue after our house was hit by Hurricane Milton but he CHOSE to still stay at our house for 2 months with no complaints to either me or my property manager. I asked him in May if he was interested in blocking off dates from r the following year and he didn't respond to do so. Then, I informed him that others rented in February and this is his insane post. Unfortunately i can't keep my rental open for him and now he has decided to give us a bad review. Never will I ever block off dates for someone like him
