About this property

Escape to South Manistique Lake in this 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home located just outside of downtown Curtis. Wonderful lake view with 200 feet of frontage to enjoy.
Master bedroom has a queen bed and attached bathroom. It also has great lake views and walk-in closet for storage. Bedroom 2 has another queen bed with large closet and lake view. Bedroom 3 has two twin beds with a walk-in closet and a roll-a-way bed if needed.

Open floor plan with fully stocked kitchen to fulfill all your cooking needs. Large TV in living room with Roku for guest log-in. Washer and dryer available in closet by the kitchen.

Enjoy peaceful days on the deck overlooking the lake followed by roasting marshmallows at the fire pit at night. Take a tour of the bay with the two kayaks or try out the great fishing the lake offers. Bird watchers will enjoy the regular pursuits of the Kingfishers that perch in trees by the water or the regular visits from a variety of ducks, geese, Loons, and occasional Osprey and Bald Eagle sightings. Watch the woods at the front of the house for daily deer activity among other wildlife. Great location for stargazing and also near hiking and snowmobile trails.

If you are looking to explore, we recommend area attractions such as Tahquamenon Falls, Kitch-iti-kipi (Michigan’s largest spring), Pictured Rocks National Lake Shore, Seney National Wildlife Refuge, Oswald’s Bear Ranch, Garlyn Zoo Wildlife Park, or rock hounding in Grand Marais.

Great Getaway!

This home made our vacation so much better! We were so impressed with everything that is available in the home and how well everything was stocked! There was also more than enough room for everyone(4). We loved that this home was only 1 hour away from some great hiking spots, and Pictured Rocks and Tahquamanon Falls! The colors were amazing, it was like it was peak when we were there! Overall this was a great home and vacation. I would definitely stay here again!

A little slice of heaven

This place was amazing! The sunrises were stunning! The fire pit was great for relaxing after a long day of adventures. The kayaks were a added bonus. The place was super clean. The host went way above and beyond making sure all our questions and concerns were taken care of. The location was great for everywhere we wanted to go. We were so pleased with everything. Awesome U.P. stay!

From the moment you walk through the door you are greeted with that amazing lake view. We were able to utilize the kayaks and have some wonderful time on the shallow water beach. The house was stocked to a level that you normally see in higher priced rentals. Coffee, spices, cooking and laundry supplies were there for your use. There was even firewood for the firepit. The yard was perfectly landscaped and the pride of ownership was evident through the entire property. The host was very responsive and even set the house up for our two young children. We were able to travel to Pictured Rocks and Tahquamenon Falls with relative ease. A true 5 star short term rental with white sheets, towels and comfortable beds. It was a perfect escape from the Houston heat for our small family. Thank you.
