Lakefront Cottage on South Manistique Lake

Escape to South Manistique Lake in this 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home located just outside of downtown Curtis. Wonderful lake view with 200 feet of frontage to enjoy.
Master bedroom has a king bed and attached bathroom. It also has great lake views and walk-in closet for storage. Bedroom 2 has another queen bed with large closet and lake view. Bedroom 3 has two twin beds with a walk-in closet and a roll-a-way bed if needed.

Open floor plan with fully stocked kitchen to fulfill all your cooking needs. Large TV in living room with Roku for guest log-in. Washer and dryer available in closet by the kitchen.

Enjoy peaceful days on the deck overlooking the lake followed by roasting marshmallows at the fire pit at night. Take a tour of the bay with the three kayaks and two paddle boards or try out the great fishing the lake offers. Bird watchers will enjoy the regular pursuits of the Kingfishers that perch in trees by the water or the regular visits from a variety of ducks, geese, Loons, and occasional Osprey and Bald Eagle sightings. Watch the woods at the front of the house for daily deer activity among other wildlife. Great location for stargazing and also near hiking and snowmobile trails.

Super location! Very nice view of the lake. Fishing was very good. Everything you would want for a nice getaway. The ladies specially liked the cabinets in the kitchen being all labeled. Would love to come back again!

Without a doubt the best VRBO location we have had. The location and property were off the charts. Alot of thought went into the house and everything you could possibly need was provided . The view from the deck of the lake is fantastic .We can't wait to return.

The place was great. We chose this one specifically for a little more outdoor privacy and it didn’t disappoint. There are some woods on both sides of the house and the nearest dock is probably 200’ away. Big yard on the water for the kids to play and plenty of firewood. A

Every aspect was absolutely perfect. Have never stayed in a VRBO that was as well supplied from kitchen items to bath. When we were about to grill steaks and noticed the grill tank might not be full enough to finish the cook Ryan had a fresh one delivered in minutes. There were even a few deer that walked thru the yard one early evening between the house and the lake.

Our small group of guys used this place for our annual fishing trip. First time in Curtis. While the fishing could have been slightly better, the accommodations could not. First of all, it was immaculately clean with very comfortable beds and furniture. Everything you could think of was provided: towels, body wash, shampoo, coffee (with both drip and K-cup options,) firewood, and all kitchen necessities in clearly labeled (very helpful) drawers and cupboards. The dock was perfect for our boat, and, barring an east wind, this spot is in a wonderful location, only a short trip from the boat launch and town. Fire pit is top notch with plenty of outdoor seating. Very private. Easy check in and check out procedures.

The house was perfect and very clean with all of the amenities you could need. Communication with Ryan was easy and he was very responsive with any questions we had along the way. The lake was gorgeous - we enjoyed fishing, playing on the beach, and campfires each night.
