Perfect place for our December Winter Get-Away! Cozy cabin, beautiful table for family games, large TV to watch the ball drop on NYE. We went dogsledding at Nature's Kennel 30min north. Took a beautiful walk along driveway and on lake in the snow. Host was fabulous with communication.
The cabin was cozy and wonderful. It was perfect for our family of four. We could all easily hang out together but everyone also had their own quiet space when needed. We came in the winter and had a blast dog sledding, playing on the frozen lake, and visiting Taquamenon Falls. Communication with Kim was excellent. She was very fast to respond to questions and had some great recommendations for food and activities in the area!

I'm so happy you enjoyed your stay and we'd love to have you back! Beautiful pictures! Thank you so very much! The deer are usually next to the driveway on the way in and have been eating the flowers in front of the cabin. I'm surprised you didn't see them up close. Thank you again!
The house was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed to use for our stay .The check-in and check-out was very easy.

The only problems we had was The address was buried in the snow and hard to determine what driveway the driveway wasn’t plowed wide enough for our 3/4 ton truck and 24 ft. Trailer to get turned around so lugging our gear down that hill after an hour in the the driveway and 8 hours on the road. Was a pain sorry but probably won’t be back. Thanks

I'm sorry you had issues finding the address. With the amount of snow and the county plowing its not always easy keeping it visible. I wish you would have reached out with your questions and concerns, we could have addressed them right away. We've had others stay and had no issues. We've tried to give a good description of the driveway in the listing. We will definitely work on these issues.
Great place! Had everything we needed for a great vacation. Host was wonderful with communication and even recommended a charter for us for catching the big ones! Was quite and peaceful with nature all around.
It was absolutely amazing! Cabin was beautiful, lake was beautiful, communication with Kim was the best and answered any of our questions we had. I love how she had a list of all the close places and sites to see. Curtis is a cute little town and very friendly. The store was the cutest little grocery store we’ve ever been in. 10/10 recommend and will definitely stay again in the future!

I'm so glad that you enjoyed your stay! It was wonderful having you! We truly love our little taste of heaven. We would love to host you anytime! Thank you!
The cabin was nice, but the bathroom had a very distinct urine smell, and being so small it was a bit unpleasant. Everything else worked out nicely though. We had a very nice family vacation.

Thank you for bringing that issue to our attention. I wish you could have contacted us immediately so we could have addressed the problem. We will definitely get to the bottom of it. We have had a contractor scheduled for 2 months to redo the bathroom by making it a larger tile shower and replacing the floor. The shower and the entire lower level will be receiving a new floor. Other than that, I'm glad you enjoyed your visit.
House was a little musty when we arrived but the screened in porch and dock were a great asset for our group!
