Our stay was very nice. We struggled finding the key to get into the unit but once we found it, our stay was great. The location of the unit to restaurants, historic sights is great.

It seems you did not review the guide thoroughly, which led to difficulty in finding the lockbox—it was only meters away from the building entrance. However, we promptly sent you information about its exact location, and you were eventually able to access the keys.

Great location for sight seeing

The property was very comfortable. It was close to restaurants, grocery, and interesting sites. You can also easily access buses or subway. Nik was great to arrange rides to the port, and answer any questions.

The flat is in an amazing location…super walkable to Plakka with TONS of restaurants and shops!!! The place was very clean and has everything you would need. Just be sure to turn the hot water on before you shower!!! Zero complaints and would stay here again!

Fantastic location!

My husband, son and I had a fabulous stay in this great apartment! Nik was exceptionally helpful after we made our booking, and continued to check in with us, to make sure all was okay. Apartment was lovely, with aircon and blackout shutters. Location is perfect, within easy walking distance of many attractions, restaurants and shops. Would definately stay here again!

Terrific apartment

The apartment was so nice. Two large bedrooms and a comfortable living room/ kitchen. Two bathrooms. Nice terrace. Every room had an air conditioner- critical during this July heat. Exceptionally clean, modern. Everything worked. Lots of hot water. The apt is on a busy street but once inside you hear very little street traffic. Beds very comfortable. Best- the location was ideal. We walked everywhere. We love to walk. You absolutely can’t beat the convenience. The VRBO host Nik- was a perfect communicator. And we found a fabulous small restaurant a few streets away called Grande Dame- don’t miss it.

Perfect location.

Was in Athens for a conference at the Zappeion and this apartment was only a five minute walk away. Plus it’s right on the edge of the Plaka, with all the shops and restaurants. It’s on a busy street but the windows all have new triple glazing so you hardly hear a thing. The a/c worked great, important during the massive heat wave. Nik was extremely responsive to all our inquiries, and arranged excellent transportation to and from the apartment. Highly recommend.

I was overly elated with this flat. Nik was very quick to respond to any questions I had. As a Diamond hotel member, I typically don't use VRBOs. However, I couldn't find a hotel locally I was interested in, so I used VRBO. And I'm glad I did! Very clean, neat, and tidy. Despite the traffic outside, when the doors and windows were closed, you could hear a pin drop inside the flat. Location is ideal for anyone visiting Athens for touring. My work was a quick subway ride away. A plethora of restaurants are near by, as well as grocery stores for anything you may need during your stay. I'd stay here again during my next stay to Athens! Well done, Nik! Keep up the good work!

Beautiful apartment in an unbeatable location

The apartment is easy to find and located central to everything. Transport, food, sights are on your doorstep. The communication with Nik the agent was excellent! The apartment is luxurious with everything you need for a stay including coffee machines, kettles and a washing machine. Added extras of washing powder, 2x drying racks, and kitchen towels and soap and shampoo were lovely surprises. The showers are amazing, great water pressure. Shutters on all windows helps reduce the noise of the busy street outside, keeps the apartment cool and dark for a good nights sleep. Every room also has its own airconditioner which is great. We loved our stay here and won't hesitate to book it again. Thanks

Worked fine for us. Easy walk to Plaka and Ermou.

This flat is on the edge of the Plaka neighborhood, it makes it very convenient to walk to the metro station or Ermou street or even the backside of Acropolis. It is at the intersection of Filellinon(Stadiou) and Vadillisis Amalias, this is a very busy corner so there is some traffic noise, but overall it was a good experience. The flat was clean and reasonably updated and the AC was nice and cold. We did have an issue with the hot water but there is a timer in the power box to turn it on. When you get up in the morning go ahead and start it and you will have plenty of hit water in about 20mins.

Great Location & Nik was a wonderful host

This place is clean, nice and is within walking distance from the Acropolis, and a bunch of great cafes, bakeries, and restaurants. Nik was an excellent contact and was always prompt to respond to messages. Markella met us at the apartment to pick up the keys and she showed us how to get in, use the lift, and where everything was in the unit, which was very helpful. Nik also arranged for a car to take us to the airport on our check out day (for a fee) and that made it easy on us. The only things I would improve on is that there was not a clothes dryer- which I think was advertised on Vrbo, and the mattresses were very firm. We laid extra comforters down to make them a little softer. But even with that, we would definitely stay there again!

Lush Sapphire - Highly Recommend! Great Location

Nik was a fantastic host, always quick to respond to questions or concerns in a polite and helpful manner. He arranged rides to/from the airport which was very convenient. The apartment was perfect for our needs. My husband attended a 6-day symposium, and I enjoyed a vacation. It had everything we needed for our 14-day stay. Since we were not together for a good portion of the time, the only caveat was navigating with one set of keys we received. However, there is a convenient lock box which was helpful. Another thing to remember is to turn the hot water button on after each shower to heat up more water, ensuring there is enough for the next person to use. There is a great 4 Season Organic Grocery Store nearby, within easy walking distance, as well as the Bazaar Grocery. The internet worked perfectly for my Zoom conference calls. The location is ideal, situated midway between Syntagma Square (for metro access) and the Acropolis, with the National Park right across the street. Tour buses and pick-up points are also very close by for any tours you might book. Overall, I highly recommend this apartment and would stay here again if the opportunity arises.

Excellent 2BR 2 Ba apartment for sightseeing in Athens

The Lush Sapphire 2Br 2Ba apartment is in the absolute best location if you are doing the tourist thing in Athens. It's walking distance from the train, palace, Temple, Museums, and Acropolis. It's also right on the edge of the Plaka district where the restaurant and shopping scene abounds. Check-in was easy, Nik the manager arranged for a car at the airport and we were met by his assistant Markella at the apartment for a run-down, all very smooth. Both beds are king and comfortable. The showers in both(!) bathrooms were large. There is a small but functional elevator, good thing because it's on the fourth level (called floor 2) of an old building with a steep staircase - not so easy if you have to haul up luggage, not bad for walking down though. The building is in a safe location, and is built like Fort Knox. You have to see the doors to believe them - they are made like vault doors, possibly to ward off civil unrest in a previous era, anyway, the place is extremely secure. Two things I would note - there is only one set of keys provided. We were two couples, and weren't always palling around together, so that created some logistical issues. Second, the hot water is on a manual timer. Hit the button when you go to bed at night and you have piping hot water in the morning, hit it again when you leave for the day so you have a full tank when you get home, no problem as long as you remember to do it. All in all, great place to stay We would stay here again.
