If you’re looking to get away from the crazy world outside. This is your place for the weekend. We are located in the driftless area which is the most sought after area in Wisconsin right now. The shower is a wonderful experience alone as there’s three showerheads and a tankless hot water heater so you will never run out of hot water. We are also walking distance from the winery.

Wonderful private location in walking distance of a wonderful vineyard and winery. Very comfortable and our host, David, was incredibly gracious. Highly recommend this for a romantic getaway.
A big Thanks to David, our host! He is quick to respond to correspondence and provided us with a sweet apartment for our anniversary. We took a day to explore nearby Prairie du Chien and thoroughly enjoy the Great River Road.
The rural location of the apt is so quiet and private. It is a lovely setting with rolling hills and starry skies. We esp appreciated a king sized bed, as it's a rare find
Excellent communication from David.
Previous to booking, and again after we booked, we had messaged asking questions. Responses were very quick both times.
We enjoyed our stay, and the multi-head shower was a treat.
Area is spectacular to drive around. Apt was clean and comfortable. A couple of thoughts: no closet, hooks or dresser. Only 1 glass. Appears someone lives there and left some personal/private items out. Even so would love to visit again.
This property is perfect for two people to feel totally comfortable, with plenty of space, in a serene surrounding. David is easy to work with and has every angle covered to meet your needs .. . especially if you are tall! Not every place has a comfortable bed for a 6'4"+ guy!
We also loved the pastries and the farm fresh eggs! Thank you!
This idyllic countryside location is an easy two roads trip from downtown RC and a simple walk to the beautiful winery across and up the lane. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Would not stay here again because it made me feel like I was staying in someone’s home while they were away, instead of feeling like it was a place to house guests. Overall it was clean but there was dirty Tupperware, personal belongings like lighters and eye glasses, a fully loaded BB gun, and used bar soap in the shower. It was affordable and the bedroom and bathroom appeared clean but just not for me.
Arrival could have been a little smoother since I was unable to locate the key. Fortunately, the Landlord answered his phone at 1230am and let me in.
There were no garbage bags in kitchen, that was wierd, fortunately just used the place for sleeping.
Coffee, a long time since I used Kuerig cups, tasty, but looked so put away I wasnt sure if it was from someone else living there, or trying keep it used as little as often, and it was half full of water. I don't know correct protocol, but suggest a permanent written list of "things to know" to navigate.
THe shower towels were not folded on a counter, rather they were draped over a towel bar like theyve been used. I hope they were new, they were the only towels and used them. oh, no shower matte, so I used one of the towels. I'm cool with that unless there were two people like I had actually signed up for, then would be none.
Large bath and shower and everything worked, has nice privacy, great view. It's (off the beaten path) but coincides with privacy really.
We went to our class reunion and stayed at David's place. The apartment is above a detached garage and is spacious for two people. It is in a nice peaceful country setting. The landlord was attentive. I recommend it for anyone looking for a great place to stay in Richland Co.
