Property Management Improvements - Not worth the money

Unfortunately, I would not recommend this property. The property manager provided check-in information a few hours before check-in. Upon arrival each day was filled with opportunities for improvements. The property manager never followed-up to see how our stay was going or addressed concerns that was sent to him. The property is located in a urban neighborhood we witness cars being chased, and heard gun shots at night. The property did not include enough towels for our party, no rugs in the bathrooms (nothing to step on after a shower), broken soap dish content spilled all over the counter, dishes were dirty, un-sightly trash in front of the property, the house was surfaced cleaned (appliances, floors, table, etc.). The overall maintenance of the property is sub-par (some walls were painted, some needed painting, broken door casing, etc.). We paid a good amount of money to stay in a sub-par property. I will not be coming back to this location. To note some positives about the property. The Wi-Fi worked, no insects, camera in front of the home to ensure vehicle was safe, and the property was secure with good locks, a bus stop is just outside the home (we did not use public transportation), a gated location for your vehicle.

Very disgruntled no longer VRBO users

We booked the property and had a confirmation weeks in advance. The day we wish to check in we contacted VRBO and found out the owner canceled our reservation without notifying us. I cannot believe people are allowed to operate like that and left us in a bind trying to find a room in New York on the Friday night we was coming in. Now VRBO is reviewing our case and hopefully get the refund for the funds it was already paid. Surely this VRBO owner can be tagged as unreliable I would not recommend renting from him ever.
