Perfect location for conference

I was visiting Owensboro for a three-day conference and most of Owensboro hotels were booked. I found this house and the price was comparable to surrounding hotels. It was less than a five mins drive to the convention center, clean neighborhood, easy street parking, and friendly neighbors. As single woman staying in a large historic house for three days, I felt safe and secure. I even walked to the riverfront a couple of times and the walk was just over 15 mins. Close to restaurants and bars. Shawn was awesome to deal with! He answered questions quickly and honestly had everything I needed that I forgot to bring. Internet was strong and was able to connect and run zoom meetings with no problems. I didn’t use the TV, but the directions for use seemed easy enough. This is an old home and it is beautiful. Definitely recommend if you’re visiting Owensboro!

Beautiful home - great character

It was a privilege to stay in this home. I enjoyed so many details of the house itself and in the nice touches the owner added in the furnishings. Our trip was cut short but it was a gift to have both of our adult sons overnight under one roof. We hope to return in a warmer month so we can take advantage of the screened room and fenced side yard. Kitchen was well stocked with cookware & utensils so we were able to cook a big breakfast together. Owner was extremely attentive, responsive and very kind. If I only got to use a one word description, it would be CHARACTER…both the home and with the owner.

Beautiful Victorian Home

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is absolutely gorgeous. Shawn was very accommodating. Case in point…there wasn’t a blow dryer or hangers at the house but she immediately ordered a new blow dryer and 50 hangers and had them delivered to the house the very next day. She definitely took care of us during our stay. The house had everything we needed. Very quiet and safe neighborhood. The screened in back porch was so nice as well as the back yard with fire pit. We loved making s’mores. We will definitely book again when we are back in town. This house doesn’t disappoint. 😊
