VRBO IS IRRESPONSIBLE ≠GLECTFUL OF TRAVELER'S

There was no stay at the rental property we paid for. After multiple communications with verbal, I am still waiting for a response from the care team since Thursday morning... If I could give 0 stars and have this actually go through I would! Being stranded 12 hours from home the customer service call lines & live chat, were completely incompetent & incapable of being empathetic. I am left with the opinion that the customer support call center is trained to get you off the phone by feeding the customer scripted lies of escalating the issue, flagging URGENT& promising followup that never comes! As for requesting a refund, forget it, you may as well call your legal team before you start your trip!!

Disappointing start to a vacation

- After receiving a confirmation email a month prior, the owner "didn't know" we reserved the condo for the week. We knocked to find residents in the location who initially told us it was not a vrbo. After much discussion, we were able to find they were connected to the owner, and they would clean and leave the property. The process took about 2.5 hours while we waited in our car after a 10 hour trip. - The location on the first floor in a condo community was less than ideal. You walk down a hallway filled with each unit's garbage. There is regular noise from floors above and people walking by as well. - The overall condo was fine. We did not have WiFi or any communication in property about connecting which was inconvenient, and the comforter to the bed was yellowed dirty and covered with hair. Otherwise the location was perfect for our trip to Charleston.
