We had a great time. Everything was great at the house, it was clean, beds were comfortable, check-in was easy. We were lucky to have had great weather during our stay. It was a quick walk around the corner to the restaurants and to the market. I appreciate Lisa and Morgan's willingness to take care of any issues that may have arose, but we didn't need anything

Nice weekend at the beach

The property was great for our group. We enjoyed relaxing and enjoying the ocean views. The property is almost ocean front with easy access to the beach. We were also walking distance to shops. Great property and great location.

My family really enjoyed staying at this house. Opening the door and listening tI the sound of the waves, was so peaceful and relaxing. We had asked if there was an ironing board and iron and they brought one within an hour. We would definitely stay here again!

The place was neet and clean but a couple of issues the front gate has a fall hazards that you dont see as you're leaving my wife fell skined her knees and broke a toe nail and the stairs in the garage is also a problem the top step is taller than the rest making it a triping hazard I know because I triped there myself. The living room has no comfortable seating at all

Can't Beat The Location

We had such a great time in this very nice house. The beach was just steps away. Three story house gave everyone plenty of space and the two kids each got their own bathroom. We're already talking about coming back at some point soon.

The location of this property is prime. It was steps away from the beach and the cute little town of Pierpont was conveniently located nearby with all the stores and restaurants. The house was stocked with all the necessities even for my dog. I did find that the bedroom downstairs was not as clean as I would have liked with the floors needing some cleaning.. Literally within 10 minutes of notifying management a cleaner was there to take care of the cleaning. I was extremely impressed and pleased.

The location of the property was great. We never had to get into our car while we were there. Shopping and restaurants were all in walking distance. We were disappointed that the sleeper couch in the living room was not the one we saw in the listing. Instead it was a standard pull out couch that was not very comfortable. The place was very sandy when we arrived and we had a toilet that ran unless it was jiggled. The grill was dirty and not operable so we had to adjust our cooking plans one night. Overall, we enjoyed our vacation but according to the listing we thought we had nicer accommodations.

Thank you, Susan and we are glad that you had a good time! We remodeled the entire second floor, adding glossy tile and a brand new kitchen. The one that was before was a galley style with grouted tile and older appliances. We now have a white kitchen with black granite, countertops, and new appliances and an open concept for easier access. With that came a larger dining table that could support eight people and guests we upgraded the self sleeper, which had the same pull out sleeping system that the old one did, but it’s new and fits better into the space. I have only had glowing reviews from guests who had stayed here before about our entertainment area upgrade. I’m sorry the grill was rusted out. It happens sometimes at the beach and I’m sorry we didn’t catch it. It wasn’t dirty, however and I’m happy that we were able to deliver you a brand new grill the next day we know how important that is for guest and we do our best to make sure you always have the best amenities available at your fingertips because we are only one house from the Sand. It is hard to keep it from coming inside sometimes and that’s why we always have our 24 hour cleanliness guarantee. I i’m sorry you didn’t have the updated photos. They are on the platform, but Verbo had not updated them on the property on their website. I have been discussing that with several properties with them. Thx! Lisa

Relaxing Beach House Vacation!

Our family travelled from 2 other states to visit with family in Ventura for Thanksgiving, and this was the perfect beach house getaway! Those who stayed in the beach house loved falling asleep to the waves at night and everyone totally enjoyed stepping right out the door to walk on the beach or sitting on the balcony or beach-front chairs to watch surfers, sunsets, pelicans, and dolphins. The host was so accommodating and provided everything you could possibly need including beach towels, an outdoor faucet by the front door to rinse your feet, outdoor shower, outdoor patio, all kitchen amenities, huge comfy beds, and 3 bathrooms! Checkout was the easiest, most stress-free of any place we’ve ever stayed. We can’t wait to come back and stay there again!

Ventura beach townhouse

The property was fine overall and very clean. There are a few things we didn't like. There was only one chair in the living room and it shows 2 in the picture. The coffee pot dribbled and there are no grab bars in the bath tub. Our host Lisa was extremely difficult to get ahold of. I had to ask her twice for our entry codes and when I emailed about a large ceiling texture problem in the garage she didn't respond at all. It looked like there had been a water leak recently and the ceiling drywall just finally gave way. The location was great and we did have a very nice time over all. We would not rent this again though due to all the stairs. I didn't realize that you had to go upstairs to the 2nd master bedroom. It would be nice to have an icemaker also.

I am sorry you felt you were not attended to! I think you missed some of my messages, such as when your entry codes would arrive. I try to pepper messages so guests don't feel overwhelmed with information. We provide two coffee pots - Keurig and Press - and sometimes things happen. When we are notified, its instacart to the rescue! Of course we checked the ceiling in the garage, and thankfully, there were no leaks, just some cosmetic popcorn that had dislodged due to time and was easily taken care of - I wish you had told me while you were staying! I always appreciate knowing a guest's wish list and I will put grab bars on the list. That you for staying! Lisa
