The Space:
This unit is located on the second floor and boasts 750 square feet of optimal island living space. This unit comfortably sleeps a party of 4 featuring a king bed in the master bedroom and a sleeper sofa in the living room as well as a full bathroom conveniently located between the bedroom and living room. The oversized lanai overlooking the garden features ample outdoor seating to enjoy the tranquil setting of Captiva.
Guest Access:
Included in the rental of this unit is the use of the many amenities at the Captiva Villas complex, including a heated pool, grill and cooking area, communal laundry room. The unit is located within a five minute walk to downtown Captiva Village where one can enjoy great dining and shopping. We provide high-end beach gear that guests can use during their stay. Getting Around:
Recommend bikes or a golf cart, rental car not needed unless guests plan to explore beyond the downtown Captiva area.

As expected, Seven Seas is still under rebuild from hurricane Ian, but this condo unit was in very good condition and suited our needs. Pools are open and in good condition and we were just minutes from the beach.

Overall the property looks great and we love the walking distance to the beach. We understand this community is still renovating and getting back on its feet from Hurricane Ian. We enjoyed our visit.
The elevator is still not operational so be prepared to climb some steps with all your travel gear. The fire alarm kept going off in the adjacent building. These were the only negative points in our visit.
Captivia is still coming back from the hurricane, so you will need to be aware of construction and more activity with workers inside and outside of this property. With that being said the location was perfect, walking distance to the beach, the pool, starbucks and other restaurants. Condo was in good condition, very clean. The check in process was seamless. We had a couple of minor issues within the condo but when we reached out to the property manager she took care of our concerns right away. Loved the screened in patio area, enjoyed our morning coffee there each day of our stay.
Our Tennis Villa/Condo was nice. However, the construction work on floors above and around us made for a very unpleasant stay. The noise was so loud.
Luckily we booked over a weekend. No one worked the weekend. Friday and Monday was the worse. I would not recommend it.

3-day stay at South Seas tennis villa
The local contacts were very responsive when I called regarding not being able to use the TVx and explained why there were no instructions for using electronics at the apt., also no instructions on how to handle garbage/trash. We simply left the garbage/trash bags for cleaning staff to handle. One problem I didn't call about was that when my husband pulled on a bath towel to get it off the towel rack, the entire rack pulled off the wall. He is no body builder, so the attachment must have been pretty flimsy. We did not attempt to rescrew it back onto the wall. Since the apt. is on 3rd floor, please let future renters know there is no working elevator.
I have stayed at South Seas many times over many years, so it makes me sad to say I will NEVER go back.
The pictures that are portrayed of the unit are all lies! The place is like a ghost town. It is filled with construction workers. Worse yet, you do not have access to the resort or any of its “few” restaurants. You are not told any of this during booking. The pool that you do have access to was filthy.
I spoke with the registration person who admittedly took some responsibility for the fact that none of this is portrayed to the public because of the new owners. We were told basically that the new owners wanted you to just be in your unit. I was deeply disappointed in the fact that as a pain customer, I could not even go to the restaurant at the north end of the resort or the pool for that matter, I would suggest no one book this site or stay here. I hate saying this I normally do not leave reviews, but this is what happened to my husband and I for that reason we will never return. The unit itself had very limited supplies such as one roll of paper towels that were so thin. It was terrible very cheap toilet paper no tissues, four towels, two washcloths and two hand towels for seven days for two people. Just disgusting.
