We enjoyed our stay. It was close to town exactly where we wanted to be during our stay. The home was the perfect size for the 3 of us. We did not do any cooking but I did notice all the pots and pans, bowls and such if I had needed them. The kitchen was well equipped for any cooking if we had wanted to cook any kind of meal.

Wonderful place! The beds were very comfortable, and the entire place was spotless. The hosts have thought about every little detail. It’s well stocked, and has all necessary supplies available. Next time I am in St. Augustine, I will check this place’s availability first, there’s no need to look elsewhere.

Great home feel to play with kids

Great place to play with kids and relax. there is a train, but its not as loud as you think. the convivence of having the gas station nearby in walking distance is great as well.

Our stay was wonderful! Hosts were great, gave lots of recommendations on things to do, and were easily accessible! We had a great time even though the weather wasn’t the best because the house was so fun and cozy! Would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Felt as if I was just at home

I loved it here. I didn’t even wanna leave. The house was cozy and quiet. They had a pirate hunt around the whole house that I had to do. The beds was comfy as if I was sleeping on cloud 9. Overall I would definitely come back.

the home was immaculate, and everyone enjoyed themselves. we were in town for family reunion held at one of the beach houses. the kitchen was well stocked and everything so convenient, please accept my apologies I think i left a pan of spagetti in the oven and I am sorry. All inquiries were responded to promptly by the owner and I would absolutely recommend and stay here in the future.

The Lazy Pirate is the place to be!

The property was clean and full of fun surprises. The property owner goes the extra mile to accommodate and make you feel like family in for a visit. Close to local attractions and food delivery for exhausted kiddos at the end of a bust day is fast. We played the scavenger hunt and video game, found toys in the closet, and had a fireside evening with hot dogs s'mores and football. If I ever come back to St. Augustine, I would try to stay here. :)

Pirate heaven

We are so lucky to have found this place! We had 2 families, with 4 boys total, and they were in pirate heaven! The hosts were so thoughtful either very detail in the house. Everything was fully stocked, including toys/games, cooking items/dishes, and even firewood. We didn’t even want to leave the house! The boys were entertained inside and outside. The scavenger hunt is such a great idea. And the arcade was a hit! Beds were comfortable and every inch of the place was so clean! Extra pillows and blankets for every room. Will recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in/around St Augustine. We made amazing memories here!

Almost straight shot to Downtown St. Augustine!! Great location!

This home was perfect in every way! The Airport is very close to this home but you wouldn’t know it! It was so quiet at night and there is Doordash that delivers. You are just outside of downtown and away from the hustle and bustle of things. The master bed was super soft and comfortable. Everything was clean and we loved all the “Extras” that were left in the treasure box for us. We enjoyed our time with Davy Bones as well! He was quite the character to have around every day when we returned from our downtown ventures. The atmosphere of the house just deepened our love for the location even more. There is a train that runs often across the Main Street of the house but it really isn’t a bother. Most people are use to a little outside noise and kids are definitely louder. :) The coffee bar is fully stocked! Even though I wasn’t there long enough this time to use it, I’m sure my next stay will result in daily use. There’s hot cocoa pods and tea packets in the drawer and plenty of coffee pods and creamer. They were really gracious with the amenities. There wasn’t much that we really needed to bring with us. They had usb ports built into the alarm clock that also supplied sleep sounds. I loved this! This is always something I miss when I’m traveling. There is plenty of parking also. The communication after we arrived was amazing. They were very quick to respond to our questions. This really is a charming home in a great location. There’s no need to look any further. We will definitely be coming back! The pictures posted are also accurate. We hated to leave so soon…there never seems to be enough time and my man is hard to please. He was like a kid in a candy store when we arrived. All giggles! Again…go ahead and book it! You won’t be disappointed!
