This Vacation Home is an upscale 4 bedroom 3 bath gorgeous waterfront home. It has a unique location right at the mouth of the bay which allows for spectacular views and premier fishing. You'll find beautiful upscale coastal decor and furnishing in this waterfront home including wood like flooring throughout, granite counter tops, and stainless steel appliances. It also has Cable TV and WiFi. The home has 2 king beds on the main floor and on the second floor there is a queen bedroom as well as a bunk room with a queen bed and two full beds. There is a very spacious balcony which overlooks the bay and is great for sipping your morning coffee or watching fabulous sunsets in the evening. There is a private lighted fishing dock which has great fishing and a private boat ramp if you want to launch your boat. In addition to the great fishing, boating and kayaking are very popular in this area. You will be able to see blue and white herons, ducks of all kinds and many other types of wildlife in this area. Rockport-Fulton, Texas offers some of the best fishing on the Texas Gulf Coast. Leave your boat at the dock and relax on the deck overlooking Copano Bay. No boat - no problem - just fish off the lighted dock and experience the 'fish freeway' where fish come in and go out to the bay.

Very Nice Stay

Our family met here for a quick getaway and all loved this place. It's very large and roomy and accommodated all of us very well. We fished, ate, visited with each other and explored Rockport. All of us had a really good time and are planning our next visit back. Every thing was as advertised and much more.

Beautiful home, well maintained and stocked with household items. Very comfortable and spacious living area. The kids loved fishing off the doc and the adults loved morning coffee on the deck - great view. Highly recommend this property!

Relaxation

Throughly enjoyed this location. We all live busy lives so taking the time to relax and gaze at the ocean was extremely nice. While there was much fishing there were not many fish to be had. This might have been due to the dolphins that we saw in the area. Dolphins!! The owners were very nice and came introduce themselves when we got there and made sure we had all the information we needed. I would definitely recommend this location for a nice relaxing getaway.

Our "Beach Castle".

10 of us ranging in age from 71 to 5 months spent a week at what the Grandchildren called, their "Beach Castle". The home was beautifully appointed and allowed for plenty of room for our family. Beautiful views of the sunsets over Copano Bay from the porch were enjoyed by all. It was a great base of operations for our forays to Rockport Beach, St. Joe's Island and the Port Aransas beaches. We also made the trip to the Texas State Aquarium where the kids touched sharks and stingrays and marveled at the displays of jellyfish. They even found Nemo and Dory! Pleasantly surprised upon first arriving at the house to find coffee and plenty of spices to heighten our meals. Stayed in and cooked mostly. Fished and kayaked from the lighted dock. A great time was had by all. Definitely considering a return trip. Thanks to the Rowes who were great neighbors and ready to help as needed.

Great Home

This house does not disappoint! The house is as described as being upscale. We had a party of eight and there was plenty of room, you could do two more people and still have plenty of room. We talked to the owners who both were very friendly and told us to contact them if we needed anything. You have your privacy at this home as well. The kitchen is fully equipped with what you need and with with plenty of seating. All of the bedrooms were very nice and beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the fishing, didn't catch any big one's, but some interesting one's we didn't recognize. We saw dolphins which was my favorite part. We tried out the community pool and it is was awesome maybe a 10 minute drive. The information we received when renting this house was they had a charcoal grill, however it was a gas grill. No biggie just don't waste your money on charcoal and lighter fluid. We will definitely go back to this home again.

Lovely home but Dangerous....NO Swimming!

First off the home is lovely. Very spacious, clean with extremely comfortable beds. I usually never write bad reviews, but feel this needs to be said as I don't want this to happen to any other child/family. The listing for this home specified swimming as one of the activities. It is NOT! If we had known you couldn't swim here, we would never had rented this home. With 2 kids who love the water, I pictured them jumping off the dock and swimming around, but we were quickly made aware this is not a swimming area. Within the first 2 hours of checking in, my son was very disappointed he couldn't swim but decided to fish instead. While fishing he was trying to walk around a palm tree, that is kind of growing into the walkway area of the seawall, when he slipped and fell into the water. There was no way for him to exit the water. No ladder on the dock, he couldn't be pulled up the seawall as it's absolutely covered in oysters, so he was forced to exit up the very slippery boat ramp cutting his foot and other parts of his body on an oyster. He got a HUGE laceration on his foot requiring 17 stitches. There was so much blood and nearest hospital was almost an hour away. Our entire trip was ruined as our son was bed ridden for our entire 4 days at the home and we had to cancel all planned activities and outings. His medical bills so far are thousands of dollars with many more to come. He has a long road to recovery as the oyster cut tendons in his foot, possibly effecting him for life. The home is located way back in a residential area, about 20 minutes from a town (Rockport) with very little to do. Other than a couple tiny catfish, don't expect to catch a bunch of fish off the dock, you'd have better luck on a boat.This home is more for people who come to the town strictly for fishing. I would definitely NOT recommend this home for families with children. Lastly, the owners of the home, whom live right next-door, are very lovely people (especially the husband) but after this happened they never reached out to us to ask about our son or offer any form of discount, which would have been nice considering my son got severely injured on their property. However, I do wish them the best and hope no one else gets hurt like our young son did, it was agonizing to watch him go through so much pain.

We had a great time at this house. Fantastic location on the water. Relaxing stay and so easy to fish each day. The house was very well stocked and organized with everything we needed. Would love to stay here again soon.

Amazing home!!

This home was absolutely beautiful! We all instantly fell in love!! The house was super clean, and the view of the bay from the living room/kitchen was amazing! The owner came over to introduce himself to us as soon as we made it to the home. He was super nice, and we would get a quick response if we msgd them for any questions! This is definitely a home I would LOVE to come back to!

Best Rental and Hosts EVER!

I've had the opportunity to VRBO dozens of homes in Rockport. This home was easily the nicest, cleanest, roomiest and best equipped on the channel/waters of Copano Bay. The channels to Salt lake make this a perfect spot for docking your boat as well as some awesome pier fishing. Ricky and Paula (owners/hosts) could not be nicer! RENT THIS PLACE. Holds a large group comfortably.

Perfect Getaway for Family and Friends During the Holidays!

Home will not disappoint. Home matches VRBO pictures. Great location for fishing right off dock. Will come back again. Only noted improvement would be to have TVs in all bedrooms. There is a TV in living room and master bedroom.

My September week

My stay at the property was excellent. The location of the property is great, shopping and grocery store less than 10 minutes away. The property has an excellent view of the bay with the ability to see dolphins as they come into the canal. The property has everything you need to have a rrelaxing stay.

Our 2nd stay at this lovely property

We had another great time at this wonderful home. It’s clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The sunsets here are amazing. We love to sit out on the balcony and watch the sun dip into Copano Bay every evening. The fish were really biting (and so were the mosquitos so bring plenty of repellent!). We love this location, just about a ten minute drive into Rockport for groceries and supplies. The owners are great, very responsive and easy to communicate with. We will be back! I didn’t want to leave!
