We had a lovely long weekend at this bright, airy 3-bedroom house right on the Rogue River — exactly the peaceful getaway we were hoping for. The living areas are filled with natural light, the rooms are comfortable and clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed for meals. The yard and river access are the highlight: the swing by the water was perfect for morning coffee, the kids loved dipping their feet in the river, and we spent hours fishing off the bank. It was peaceful and relaxing to watch rafts and boats float by while we unwound on the deck. The host was communicative and check-in was simple. Highly recommend for families or anyone wanting a calm riverside escape — we’d happily stay again.
Enjoyed this nice house and yard on the Rogue river with my 75 year old mother . She loved the river view from her bed ! . Very relaxing stay watching the river pass by out the glass doors of main room as we sipped coffee and cocoa ( it was a little too chilly to stay outside ) . Super easy access to Medford airport , which was important to us . Easy and great contact with the owners when we had questions / concerns . Response was quick and polite and genuine . Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting a peaceful getaway on the river. .
It was beyond our expectations! Beautiful.
The only glitch was the water pressure in the bathroom and how long it took to get water to them. We would use again. Thank you for basket of goodies.
This cabin by the river had great views and was clean. Even though the water in the river was high, both levels of the backyard were dry enough for use in May. It was relaxing to sit on the back porch and drink coffee in the morning or cider in the afternoon. Bring your sleeping mask since sunrise is early, but beautiful. Every room has wonderful views of outside. Plenty of room for a family of 4-5 without sleeping on a couch. We would stay here again.

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Disliked: Cleanliness
Possibility to be Great
PROS:
• Aesthetic is great - exactly as appears in photos.
• Location on river is spectacular.
• Check-In Easy as was communication prior to stay.
CONS:
• Lack of Cleanliness. Some examples: Kitchen table hadn't been wiped, nor had stove top or kitchen handles (oddly grimy with 3-dimensional bits of food stuck on them) **note the seams on the table and you can see this seems common. Master bathroom had discernible hair from at least 4 different individuals. Cobwebs & dustballs in each room.
Things had been put away but not really cleaned (mirrors and sinks the exception) prepped as if someone were stopping in for dinner versus staying a few days.
• Wifi Non-Existent. It simply did not work. Wasn't until check-in that the host mentioned wifi was spotty and to text if we needed to contact them but it truly did not function at all. Cell service was spotty (Verizon) which added to the conundrum. Simple texts were having issues.
• No Window Treatments throughout (minus partial coverage in bathrooms). Complete lack of privacy in the master bedroom.
--- and worst of all ---
• Low-to-No Water Pressure, particularly in the showers. And the temperature was inconsistent. Twice while showering water went ice-cold for at least a couple minutes making an already long shower that much longer. I skipped showering some days due to this issue.
If these problems were fixed I would recommend but as it is now, I would not stay there again.
This property has a lot of potential. Another reviewer summed it up very well and I should have paid attention.
No water pressure, literally a trickle comes out. Hot water comes in and out when showering. Spoke to owner and she said it is on propane so hot water should never run out. Never had more than five minutes of hot water and never out of the bathroom sink.
Wifi never worked while we were there. Owner said it could be spotty after we checked in so to text for issues.
There are NO window treatments, none except for some drapes over some doors in master. You just felt completely exposed.
All beds are very hard, uncomfortable and are foam covered in some kind of mattress pad.
We had to make up the upstairs bed ourselves. The sheets were clean and folded on top.
Were told there would be a welcome basket but did not see anything. There was one pastry on a dish on the counter and then an opened container in the fridge. All just odd.
The deck and view of the river are nice. If you are looking for some type of camp experience this might be the place for you.
Great host and property. Very clean and enjoyable.
