Reconnect with nature and your loved ones when you spend a few days on our 85 acre hobby farm in a newly renovated 2 bedroom cottage! The kids will love our free range chickens and horses and you are welcome to explore the pastures and surrounding woods, or bring your fishing poles to try for some catfish from our small pond.

This is our second rime staying at this property and it never disappoints. Peaceful, clean, beautifully done and my husband and son enjoyed some good fishing in the pond on the property. Highly recommend this beautiful property!

Quiet piece of heaven

Owners were super friendly, let us to barn to see and help around horses, property is very large so you can walk freely with doggies, house is clean really pretty and nicely remodeled. I would definitely recommend this property, only thing what we were missing is laundry especially after rainy days clothing got dirty really fast.

Relaxing Getaway

The cottage is perfectly decorated, well stocked, immaculately clean and the property is straight out of a dream. The owners are so kind and welcoming, we are so grateful to them for their kindness. If you are looking for a quiet getaway, this is the place !

Fantastic cottage & wonderful hosts

Gorgeous cottage and great place to decompress. We enjoyed the very clean home with special details for people who stay there. :) We did not even expect a little relaxing room that included a ping pong table. WOW! Our hosts were very inviting and friendly. Perfect access to a few restaurants, but the kitchen was well stocked for any type of cooking needs. Great surprise was a dozen fresh eggs from the chickens on the property. YUMMMM Thank you for such a wonderful weekend.

About the host

Hosted by Maggi & Manny Singh

Manny & Maggi started their hobby farm adventure in 2021 when they decided to give up suburban life and head for the country. They spent a year completely renovating the cottage. Manny has always wanted to own horses and finally brought 2 home to the farm in the summer of 2022. We love to introduce people to the horses and free-range chickens and give them a small taste of farm life. Manny is a professional photographer, so he can schedule a session for you while you are staying at the property.

Why they chose this property

Our guests always comment how peaceful and relaxing the property is, and the pecan trees and spanish moss give the property a romantic and mystical feeling. We have no neighbors to speak of, so you can run around the fields without a care in the world. We are still very close to town - everything you need only 5 min away. We are conveniently located between Jacksonville and Gainesville, perfect for football game weekends, quick family getaways or a romantic weekend for two.

What makes this property unique

The horses are definitely a draw for most of our guests - if we are at home during your stay, we'll be more than happy to introduce you to Beauty and Sultan. They love carrots and apples and we usually have some on hand if you would like to give them a snack. People often like to see us training the horses...they aren't quite ready for trail rides yet, but we can arrange horseback riding for you during your stay if you are interested. We also have bees on the property during certain times of the year and if our bee keeper comes by, you may get to learn all about this important industry.
