Fantastically Relaxing

Beautifully well maintained treehouse. It was more than I expected. If we forgot something, the treehouse had it! Loved the sound of the rain hitting the roof, so peaceful. Had a fantastic stay and already planning when we can come back!

Excellent Fall getaway!

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay! The tree house was clean and had everything we needed. Communication with the owners/property manager was excellent both before and during our stay. The property itself is beautiful and really allows you to relax and enjoy nature. I highly recommend a visit!

The Gem of Eastern Tennessee!!!

Treehouse Mountian is spectacular. Our treehouse was very well appointed, with attention to detail and clear knowledge about what most renters will need for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed the smallest treehouse, Dreamweaver, with our 5-year-old, while his brother spent the week down the road at sleepaway camp. For the 3 of us, it was very comfortable. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor space. We enjoyed smores by the fire and were grateful that the wood, fire starter, and lighter were all provided. We enjoyed a hike around the property and saw most of the disc gold holes. My 5 year old loved the playground and the random hammocks around the property. The bathhouse was close, air conditioned, and most importantly, CLEAN. The owners, Elka and Tom, were gracious and friendly hosts. Honestly, I was hesitant to leave a review because I know this place will eventually be booked out, once word catches fire about how awesome the place is. We are already planning our next trip here. See you again soon!

Switch off within 5 minutes

We had an incredible stay over the weekend for my girlfriend’s birthday. Exactly what we had hoped for: all the amenities needed (bed, space heater, air conditioner, sofa, mini kitchen) while enjoying the peace and quiet. The owners were pretty smart in not putting a stove inside but instead on the balcony which meant that we had the best of both worlds: no smell and gorgeous views while cooking breakfast/dinner. The owners are on site for any questions/topics while also giving you the space to switch off. There are another 3 treehouses on the property. That being said, they’re very spaced out so you can’t hear the others either. All in all, a wonderful experience if you are looking to switch off for the weekend, be absolutely remote and just sit around a campfire. Can only recommend it to anyone wanting to have a treehouse experience!

Amazing Anniversary Retreat

My wife and I spent the weekend of our 1-year anniversary in the Dreamweaver Treehouse and absolutely loved it. Not only was the Treehouse much cleaner than others cabins we stayed in during our summer vacation, but the owners were super nice and made our special weekend perfect. In addition to the warm and clean treehouses the surrounding area is perfect for a long weekend getaway. From the small town in Mcaysville to the growing town of Blue Ridge there is plenty of activities to do as well as places to shop and eat. Definitely will be coming back!

A great little getaway

The Dreamweaver is a magical little getaway. Everything was very clean and all the little extra touches were a nice surprise. The bathroom and showers were always kept very clean. Layla, Elke and Tom were all very responsive. Tom even got a fire prepared for us as we are quite inept at starting fires! We visited the Ocoee Whitewater Center and the towns of Blue Ridge, Copperhill and McCaysville. Great restaurants and breweries! The treehouse property is beautiful and I was even able to get some photos of the Milky Way. It’s so nice to find a special place like this and especially that they are so pet friendly. Looking forward to planning a return trip.

Just What We Meeded to Recharge!

Treehouse Mountain was just what our small family (me, husband, 4 year old son, and our large German Shepherd) needed to recharge our tired, big city batteries. The property is great, and the treehouses are beautiful! We stayed in the smallest one (Dreamweaver) because the others were already booked up for part of our week-long stay. The bath rooms and showers in the bath house are very clean, temperature controlled, and it worked just fine for us; however, next time, we will be choosing a treehouse with a bathroom inside. Although I felt absolutely safe walking the short distance to the bath house for an occasional, middle of the night potty break, after a week, we all missed the convenience of walking into a bathroom in the room across the hall (especially with a small child who didn’t like to pee in the woods and who had to go potty very quickly once he announced it). : ) The treehouse was very clean, well-made, nicely decorated, and it definitely did not make you feel like you were roughing it in the woods. Our hosts were gracious, kind and were very helpful with their local suggestions. Be sure to visit Picture Perfect Adventures in nearby Ellijay, GA for horseback riding or an ATV tour. Their property was amazing, the rates were reasonable, and everyone there was so nice. Our young son loved riding with our tour guide (he was belted into the side by side vehicle with a helmet on too) as Daddy and I rode on the ATVs.along side them. Great family fun in nature! We also loved exploring at GoForth Creek. We will certainly be returning next year, and we’ve already told several neighbors about our positive experience who are now interested in visiting. We can’t wait to come back!

Quiet Getaway to Re-Set

I needed some time to myself and Treehouse Mountain was it!! It is so peaceful and quiet. I could just stay in my treehouse, sit by the fire pit, or drive to the many activities nearby. I had neighbors during a few of my days' stay, and we all respected each other's privacy. Will definitely recommend to friends, and I will be back as well!

Beautiful and so fun!

We had such a great time. The treehouse team thought of everything! Our treehouse was perfect for my husband and I. We didn't want to leave. The bath house and the treehouse were both so clean and neat. The extra accommodations the team makes really made a huge difference in our stay and the overall experience. We can’t wait to come back!

Aunt & Nephew Getaway!

What a wonderful time my nephew and I had exploring the property, chilling in the treehouse with AC and a movie at night and a feeling of genuine concern from the family that runs the property that all our needs were met. We can't wait to go back!

A Quiet Get Away!

Thanks for the wonderful stay at the Dreamweaver. We definitely cannot wait until our next visit. We loved our little treehouse and even got to bring out dogs for no charge! The air conditioner definitely was working it's hardest being the middle of summer, so it was pretty warm in the treehouse (but I also like it at 68 degrees LoL) That would definitely would be our ONLY complaint. We love it and it is definitely our new secret get away!

Dreamweaver did not disappoint

This was a fabulous experience and highly recommended. We stayed in the spring, so the weather was both warm and cold. A/C and heat kept us comfortable. Everything is well thought out, designed, and easy to manage. Everybody was helpful, kind, and took great care of us. If you are thinking about booking a stay at Treehouse Mountain, don't delay. Just do it. You will not be sorry you did. There is a lot to see and do on the property and in the area. And if you just want to relax in/at your treehouse, this place is perfect for that as well. we can't wait to return for another stay!

March stay

We stayed at the dreamweaver cabin. It was just the right size for the two of us. I enjoyed being able to sit on the dexk and read and listen to the stream. The firepit was perfect for nighttime enjoyment. The bath house was clean and easily accessible. There was a grill, but we chose to eat in the local town. We were able to do some touring and hiking The owners were on property and so kind. We will definitely be back

This place is magical and fun while being comfortable and clean with high quality furnishings and an exceptional eye for detail. We adored our time here and hope to come back again. The hosts could not have been more accommodating— they were prompt with their replies to our questions and went above and beyond to help us out during our stay. Five stars for sure! I feel so lucky to have found such a unique, charming and exquisite little village of treehouses. Five stars for sure.
