Very nice accommodation.

Cabin was nearly new and laid out well. Bed was very comfortable. Nice and quiet for sleeping. We really didn't need much except a place to sleep and shower, since we were pretty busy during the day.One thing to be aware of though, is that this sets quite a ways off the paved highway on a dirt/gravel driveway which can be quite dusty.

Perfect Little Cottage

We stayed here for thr July 4th long weekend. The cabin was well appointed and clean. The area was beautiful and peaceful. Cabin is dog friendly! Close to Murphy, NC. Plenty of places to eat within 10min drive. Wish the river was accessible at the cabin, but its too steep. But the community has two different river accesses on property. Recommend without hesitation!

The cabin was quite cozy and very clean. There was everything we needed inside, some spices for cooking and all the cookware we needed. The shower was hot and with good water pressure. The pillows were comfortable, the bed was just so-so, a little too firm for my liking. Check in was smooth and Carrie was very responsive with any questions. My ONLY complaint is that there is not easy access to the river from the cabin. You have to hike down a very steep embankment, that is pretty far. Even then, the path is not clear or friendly. When you get to what appears to be an access, it is still quite a drop. The view of the river from the outside sitting area is nice, but you cannot see the river from inside the cabin. We appreciated the tin roof when a storm came in, it was very calming! Also excellent distance from downtown to drive. Very peaceful and quiet area.
