Alt Zauche is not far from the beautiful and traditional town of Lübben. Activities in the area: To experience the Hochwald, the heart of the Spreewald, from the water, you should of course take a boat through the Speech annals in the Spreewald. Start your tour directly from Alt Zauche, right on the edge of the beautiful Hoogelzen forest. You can also paddle the Spree yourself with a canoe. Also worth seeing is the castle island with its restaurants, the bistro Gurken-Paule and the boat harbor. Or enjoy a dip in the Spree Lagoon on warm days. A visit to the castle in Lübben is also recommended. And even in the evening the sidewalks are not yet folded. In the evening the city offers a walk with the night watchman from Lübben or a night trip by boat.
