Neuendorf am See is a part of the Unterspreewald municipality in the Dahme-Spreewald district in Brandenburg. The beautiful Neuendorfer See is part of the Spreewald biosphere reserve and, with its flat banks and many bays, invites you to go swimming and fishing. Carp and pike are plentiful here. The surrounding deciduous and pine forests make wonderful walking and cycling tours possible, and you can also quickly reach the attractive towns of Lübben and Storkow. Activities nearby: Of course you must have taken a barge through the canals of the Spree in the Spreewald. You can also explore them yourself with a rented canoe. Also worth seeing is the castle island of Lübben with its restaurants, the bistro by Gurken-Paule and the boat harbor or enjoy a swim in the Spreelagune on hot days. And in the evening, the sidewalks are far from being folded up. At night, the city offers a hike with the Lübben night watchman or a night trip with the barge. Note: the house can only be heated with an electric fireplace.
