I’m very sorry the air conditioning was inoperable for much of your visit, that is unacceptable, especially with a 4‑month‑old in the home. We did dispatch technicians multiple times and understand the suggested defrosting steps were insufficient; we’ve escalated the matter to an HVAC specialist to identify a permanent repair or replacement and to prevent recurrence. I also apologize for the strong cleaning-product odor on arrival. We instructed our housekeeping team to use milder, low‑odor cleaners and to ventilate the home thoroughly before guest arrival. I’m very sorry the home wasn’t as clean as it should have been and that one bedroom had an unpleasant odor. We take reports of dust, sticky surfaces, and lingering smells seriously. We’ve reviewed your notes with our housekeeping and maintenance teams and have taken the following steps: - Performed a deep clean of the bathrooms and all surfaces, including addressing drywall dust and sticky bedside tables. - Treated and laundered soft goods and inspected fabrics to remove any odors; we’re pursuing additional remediation where needed. - Inspected and repaired (or replaced) the video game console and other electronics in the basement. - Updated our turnover and pre-arrival checklists and reinforced quality checks with our cleaning crew to prevent these issues in future turnovers. - Added clearer parking guidance to the listing so groups with multiple cars know what to expect. We regret that the timing of graduation weekend kept you from reaching out during your stay , had we known, we would have sent a team right away.
