The property is in an area of Indy not far from downtown. However, we were not comfortable feeling safe enough walking to downtown. It looks to be a neighborhood that is undergoing some gentrification and trying to make some changes. At first, we were a little unsure of the safety of staying in the area, but we did not have any problems while we stayed there. When we arrived, we did not have the code for entry provided on time. We did contact the owner and he promptly provided the information. This house has been rehabbed and had plenty of rooms and beds available. There were minimal areas for seating and several stains on the couches and stools. There is only one shower which made getting ready for our size of group complicated. Both bathrooms are downstairs so it was cumbersome for middle of the night bathroom trips. The kitchen was clean and a nice size. However, the refrigerator did not get cool enough and we struggled to keep our food cold. We contacted the owners so that they were aware. We were planning on spending some time on the back porch, but the deck and the seating showed significant wear and broken pieces so we were unsure of the safety. We did contact the owner and provided pictures of those concerns. There weren't specific check out instructions, so we contacted the owners and he did get back to us with what to do. When we took the trash out, the can was already overflowing so we piled our trash on the top of the can. Overall, the stay was just 'okay'.
