This home was beautiful and has everything you need for a great vacation. The best part was the screened in porch off the living room. We sat out there with our dog and it was so nice and shady. We couldnt arrive on Saturday and the host was nice enough to offer us a Sunday thru Sunday stay. Great property!

The property is ideally located; just a short walk to the beach. The neighborhood is very quiet. The home is very clean and well furnished. The pool was heated to perfection. We had a few minor snags and the property manager was excellent. They took care of any issues in a prompt and friendly manner. We will definitely stay with them again!

Great place for some R&R

Clean property, quick walk to the beach, quiet and secluded. Handy area for a shower and rinsing things off under the house by the pool. Spent a good amount of time in the screened in patio shielded from the bugs.

Great spot, nice house

We had a great time at Dolphin Dreams! The house was clean, updated, and in great condition. There were lots of supplies available for use (trash bags, laundry and dishwasher pods, sponge, soap, etc.). Screened-in pool was great to keep bugs out and it's a short, lovely walk to the beach.

45th Anniversary memories

This is our first time to St George Island and everything was perfect. Our VRBO was fantastic and the owner was great with communications. The house delivered on everything that was shared on-line. We will be back with our family again!! I highly recommend As Good as it Gets!

SGI +++

St George Island is awesome. This house was a simple walk to the beach which was very open population wise. Will definitely try to rent with this same company in the future.

Beautiful, Peaceful Setting

This is a nice house and the neighborhood is great. The house was what was expected from the listing. We would definitely recommend this house. The only (minor) issue is that the mattresses could be updated for better sleeping comfort.

We loved Dolphin Dreams!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a great vacation home. It's very convenient to the beach (be sure and take the path). The house is very family friendly, with great amenities. Our only complaints are that the mattress in the upstairs bedroom (on the right) was very firm, and we instructions for operating the TVs would be nice.

Wonderful stay

The place is secluded and quiet but the pool got enough sun that it was enjoyable. It is a very short walk to the beach so easy to run back to the house for lunch or forgotten items. We worried about the weather on one day with a severe storms//winds/flooding but putting items next to the house they were safe and dry. We also enjoyed having such a well built and private outdoor shower that the kids could fully change before coming in and avoided getting the house sandy. The foot cleaning spout was a bonus too. Overall very pleased with this place we found even if a little last minute for us.

Our Stay at Dolphin Dreams

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The pool an asset for quick dips in the afternoon! We would stay here again if we had the chance. Our only suggestion is to upgrade the refrigerator. Items in the back of the frig were frozen, some ruined. Plus, the racks on the door kept falling off and our drinks would fall out.
Response from VrboOwner on 11 July 2025
We'd love to host you again Suanne! We appreciate your care of the property during your visit and we welcome you back any time. We will assess the refrigerator at the next opportunity, and thank you for making us aware. Sometimes we've found that a fully stocked refrigerator can block the vent and fan, and cause ice to form on the back of the refrigerator. This could have been the cause, as the refrigerator is only a couple of years old. We're on it!

vacation trip for fishing

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I would have given 5 stars for this rental....except for the flat-screen in the living room. Way too small for the room....we actually had to move a couch closer to the screen in order to view it comfortably. This would be an easy and cheap fix for the owner.....
Response from VrboOwner on 29 Dec 2022
Thanks for staying with us Terry! A new and larger TV was in the works and has been installed in the living room. We look forward to having you back to enjoy the new 50" flat screen!

Peaceful, comfortable, 4 minute walk to the bech

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 9th visit to SGI, but our first stay at Dolphin Dreams. We loved it! The house looked like it had some age on it but was very clean and comfortable. The one thing that bothered me was the fact that the window screens in a lot of the windows were really messed up - making it so you couldn't see out the window. The bed was super comfortable. The kitchen was small but had everything we needed. We liked the location - just a few minutes' walk to the beach and about a 20-minute walk to the cut. It was very quiet and very peaceful. We had a couple of minor questions, and the Forgotten Shores staff was very responsive and helpful. We are extremely thankful that our dogs were able to stay with us. They were very comfortable also. We would definitely stay here again.
Response from VrboOwner on 16 May 2025
Hi Deborah! Window screens have been replaced and updated, so you'll have a better view looking toward the pool or bird watching. We can't wait to have you back at Dolphin Dreams for your second stay, with fresh views!

We cook all our meals while on vacation.....KITCHEN PERFECTLY STOCKED!!!! Loved the screened back porch...my husband&I wnjoyed our morning coffee and evening adult beverages out there every morning and night! We are poo snobs since we have one of our own and the pool at Dolphin Dreams was PERFECT!!! Pool furniture very accommodating and comfortable! The shower down by the pool was awesome! Shower in 2 bedrooms upstairs were extremely small though so my husband and I took our showers down at the pool shower! The inside of Dolphin Dreams was very clean...no complaints. First time we have ever stayed at a rental house where the outside trash cans were big and not broken....thank you!!! We were disappointed only in the parking. We were not able to park our truck or a Tahoe under either side of the under house parking. OTHERWISE SATISFIED!KUDOS to Desiree at Forgotten Shores Property Management...everytime i talked to her on the phone she was 100% patient, kind, helpful, etc etc etc!!!! Thank you Desireee!!

A Good Month at Dolphin Dreams

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I were very comfortable during our four-week stay at Dolphin Dreams. The rental was exactly as described and pictured and was clean, had comfortable furniture and beds, and was well-stocked. We also liked the location -- it's in a quiet area, just a very short walk to the beach and fairly close to the Sikes Cut. We appreciate the fact that the owners allowed us to have our small dog with us. During our stay at Dolphin Dreams, we were visited by several friends, as well as our adult daughter and found the house to easily accommodate those visitors. The screened porch and screened pool area were additional pleasant places to sit. My only caveat about this home is that if you had a large group (which is certainly possible since there are four bedrooms and three baths), the living room and dining area would be too cramped for my taste. But for our smaller group, it was very nice.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Been coming to St George since I was a child since my mom’s family is from panhandle. This is my fav house across entire island. The pool was awesome, the outdoor shower so convenient; interior beautiful but not overdone. Quick walk to beach with advantages of Plantation amenities. Bedrooms very private. Exterior well maintained. Screened porches are frosting on the cake!!!
