This eco-friendly property sits near the southern tip of Bainbridge Island, with Puget Sound's waters and the evening ferries' lights visible from the porch and balcony. You'll be a one-mile stroll from Fort Ward Park, where you can take long walks on the beach and launch watercraft, and three miles from restaurants, live music, a wine bar, and a movie theater in Lynwood Center.

This property showcases eco-conscious design, full of thoughtful details such as salvaged old-growth timbers and siding, rooftop solar panels, locally milled white-oak floors, custom fir cabinets, and recycled paper countertops. A dedicated office, high-speed WiFi, and a home gym with fitness equipment and a smart TV are also provided.

The main house's primary suite has a SleepNumber bed, a balcony, and an en suite bathroom with a jetted tub. The studio is detached from the main house, allowing a couple or a small family more privacy. It includes a kitchen, dining table, and living and sleeping area with a smart TV.

Great Property but Property Management communication lacked
This property was nice to stay in but vacasa, the property management company, was horrible to communicate with. Either didn’t respond to requests or responded days late or without complete answers so I had to keep asking. I haven’t ever had worse communication with a property management company. I feel bad cause you can tell the owners care a great deal about their property but the lack or incomplete communication is rough. My group (7-40 year old women) were also disappointed on the cleanliness. It was not deep cleaned - which since the owners have a property management company that should be top of the line cleaning…. there were animal droppings outside all the windows, there were no screens on the windows for bugs (looked like they had gotten cleaned but were never put back in - we found them later). The place was also stifling hot when we got there, (mid day in May - not the hottest part of the year especially for bainbridge) couldn’t imagine being there during an actual hit time of the year. The swim spa was also freezing when we arrived. 85 and it’s sooo large that it took most of our two day stay to heat up to temp. As someone who owns a couple airbnbs, my property management company will come and cool down the house before people get there and they also would have made sure the swim spa was at temp. I think the owner would benefit from firing the property management company first and foremost.

A cozy retreat space
This space was the perfect size for our Board of Directors to gather for our annual retreat. The living room was just the right size for us to hold our day-long meeting, and there were enough beds for all of us between the studio and the main house. We did wish there were clearer checkout instructions and wish the icemaker worked on the freezer in the main house.

Dirty, poor location, depressing
I would not recommend this property to anyone. The location is poor. The house is barely furnished - very depressing. The trash can was full, rodent droppings in the bed. Poor communication with management company
