Almost 5 stars!
This property is really nice and exceeded our expectations in a few ways. The room itself was very big and had all he amenities we would need. The resort was very nice and had a huge pool, lounge area and game room. Great for families. We really liked the location and enjoyed the short beautiful drive to Galena. The game room is a really fun addition too.
Make sure to ask for a room with a forest view. The ones facing the parking lot would be a lot less desirable. We got the forest view and it was great!
There were a few details that missed the mark.
- loud banging in the bathroom and sewer smell around 6am when room above was showering. Asked front desk about this and they said it must be the pipes defrosting... Not a great answer.
- hot tub was broken and ceiling and wall paint was hanging down. Needs repair. This is pretty gross.
-the photos are a bit confusing. We expected to have a fireplace next to the tub however we did not have that. Each room has one fireplace. The suites have a fireplace between the main room and the bathroom. The one bedroom rooms have a fireplace between the bedroom and the main room. Not a big deal, but the photos are confusing.
Overall we were very happy with our stay, just had a few things that make it 4 star, not 5 star.
