About this property
Amazing Panoramic Views + Fire Pit + Hot Tub
There’s a special kind of peace that comes with being high above the trees — where the air feels cleaner, the mornings quieter, and the views endless. From your private balcony at Birdsong Ridge, nestled in Pittman Center, the Smoky Mountains stretch before you like a living masterpiece. It’s the breathtaking vistas that give Birdsong Ridge its beauty, but it’s the warmth of its spaces and the comfort of its setting that make guests feel at home. Here, life slows down, conversations linger, and the mountains remind you what it means to truly relax.
Birdsong Ridge is a 2,400-square-foot chalet that comfortably welcomes up to 12 guests. With three king bedrooms, a queen suite, a cozy bunk room, and a panoramic living area, every corner invites rest and connection. Each room frames a view of the Smokies — from soft sunrise light to the golden calm of evening.
The comforts here make every moment memorable: a barista-style espresso machine for slow mornings, a fireplace for crisp nights, and a private hot tub surrounded by forest. Gather at the smokeless fire pit, share meals on the deck, or simply sit back and breathe in the quiet.
Tucked in peaceful Pittman Center, just minutes from the Greenbrier entrance to Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Birdsong Ridge offers the best of both worlds — peaceful seclusion with easy access to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and the area’s best hiking, dining, and adventure.
Here, you’ll find what the Smokies are meant to be: unforgettable views, quiet comfort, and a sense of peace that lingers long after you leave.

🐞 The Smoky Mountains are rich with nature and wildlife, which means occasional visits from small critters and insects are simply part of mountain life. We use a licensed pest control service with monthly treatments to minimize insects, but ladybugs are the one guest we can’t keep out! They’re common in the fall and winter, when they gather near warm spots inside and outside the cabin. This is a normal seasonal event throughout East Tennessee. Our team cleans thoroughly before and after each stay to keep things comfortable. You may also spot local wildlife such as black bears or raccoons around the property — another reminder that you’re in the heart of the Smokies. 🐻

About the host
Hosted by Amanda
Adventurous and always up for new experiences, I’ve been drawn to the Smoky Mountains for years — the views, the peace, the food, and the small-town charm never get old. As a West Coast native who once called Tennessee home, I love helping guests discover the same magic that keeps me coming back.
When I’m not exploring mountain trails or searching for hidden foodie gems, you’ll find me tending my home orchard on the Oregon coast with my family and our happy crew of pets. Hosting lets me share the beauty of these places I love — and create stays that feel just as special as the memories you’ll make here.

Why they chose this property
We created Birdsong Ridge to be the kind of mountain retreat we always looked for but rarely found — a place that feels peaceful, private, and connected to nature, yet close enough to enjoy everything Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge offer.
What makes this property special to us is the view — wide, unobstructed, and sunrise-facing. Whether you’re sipping coffee at the espresso bar, watching the fog drift through the mountains, or relaxing by the fire pit under string lights, there’s a sense of calm here that’s hard to describe until you’ve felt it.
We love that guests can spend the morning hiking in Greenbrier, the afternoon exploring town, and the evening back here — grilling dinner, soaking in the hot tub, or just being together. It’s a place for slowing down, reconnecting, and remembering what matters most.
That’s why Birdsong Ridge exists — to give families and friends a true Smoky Mountain experience: quiet mornings, unforgettable views, and the kind of peace you take home with you.
