INITIAL SUPPLIES - UPON ARRIVAL
Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom & one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens and towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.

Mayberry & Barney Fife

Beautiful house. Very clean. Management company amazing. Vacuum cleaner was broken. AC did not get below 74. Dishwasher not bolted in and fell out when opening bottom level. Waaaaaaaay too many bikes in garage. We were drowning in bikes!!!! We loved the free 4 bike rentals which we changed to children’s bikes. We discovered that there were already 4 adult bikes there for the season. But also 6-8 more bikes. And… I had brought my own. This was stressful. The neighborhood was like a vacant ghost town (mid-Aug) where we hardly witnessed anyone but ourselves… kinda creepy. We discovered the larger, second pool on the last day (across the street).We got a $100 golf cart ticket on the first day as we were struggling to put car seats in. Barney Fife (already a thorn in our flesh) kept following me around on the last night while I was trying to pack my car. Security was creepy not comforting. Beach access is a real prob. Research carefully before you choose this property. I wish we had booked Rosemary Beach or closer to Seaside. Bike trail was awesome.
