The houseboat for 2 persons is individually furnished on 40 m² and has a bedroom and living room, kitchenette, bath, sauna, covered terrace, sundeck and rowboat. You will love the individual equipment and color design.
The La Péniche is moored on the pier of the natural harbor in Rieth on the very outer mooring. We have designed the boat so that you have a clear view of the sea from all rooms with large windows and terraces and experience the most beautiful sunsets on the lagoon. After a walk in your boat sauna, cooling in the lagoon and a glass of wine on the terrace you will not want to leave the boat. Let your soul relax on vacation.
A houseboat vacation is always an exceptional summer vacation. You will experience the most beautiful sunsets on the lagoon, but also be exposed to storm or rain. Since it is a boat, you should not mind the movements on the water.
Relax on long walks on the water or in the adjacent pine forest. In our natural harbor, only 600m away, you can use our rowing boats. How about a rowing boat tour in the most beautiful sunset on the Baltic Sea? Enjoy fresh bread in the morning, which we hang on the door or go into our organic vegetable garden and harvest fresh vegetables for a delicious salad.
The fishing village Rieth with its 148 inhabitants is a very special gem on the Szczecin Lagoon.
As soon as you drive into the village, you will be greeted by Vorpommerschen brick and half-timbered houses and well-kept cottage gardens. Soothing to know that you have to drive back the only road that leads into the village. Through traffic does not exist. Arrived at the village green (Herrengarten) with its ancient chestnuts, you can see the former "Gasthof zum Blaue See", whose appearance has not changed for 150 years and is now a holiday home. Vis à vis is the smallest museum in Germany, the Riether Heimatstube with exhibits from the Szczecin Lagoon and the Baltic Sea.
If you drive further into the village, you pass the former village school, half-timbered church, former forestry and a few meters further the castle Rieth.
Then you reach the natural harbor with sailing and fishing boats, traps, nets. From here you can take a boat across the lagoon to the Baltic Sea. Now it is only a few meters to the beach. The Waldbadestelle is ideal especially for children, since the water only gradually gets deeper.
