Great place to rest on a track weekend

Group of friends and I stayed here when we were in the area at Carolina Motorsports Park. Was a great place to relax and grill out after we were done at the track each day. Outdoor eating area is fantastic!

Great place on the lake. It was very windy at the race track but suprisingly calm at the house. They have a little bit of everything you need and the hospitality was above and beyond! We will be going back for sure!

We very much enjoyed our stay. The house is beautiful and had additional amenities. We found everything that we were needing. Great location to relax

My family and I stayed here through the week of Thanksgiving. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook a huge meal. We enjoyed the outside fireplace and dining option for several nights. Had the weather been a bit warmer, we would have taken advantage of the kayaks and paddle boards for the lake. Beautiful lake home in a wonderful part of rural South Carolina, just a short drive from Columbia. Skip was an amazing host. This little piece of heaven on earth is a five star rental. We were blessed to have our Thanksgiving family gathering here.

Nice property in quiet cove

We enjoyed the weekend on the lake, despite the rainy weather. The property offers everything you could need. We enjoyed the outdoor fireplace on the covered patio! The host was easy to communicate with, quick to reply and generously allowed us a late check-out. We brought our small boat, and though we didn't have much luck fishing, the dock at the property was great! The cove was nice and calm, and the neighborhood was quiet. We would definitely stay here again!

July 4th Lake Wateree stay.

We all enjoyed staying at this Lake Wateree vacation home. Skip was a very attentive host and responded to all communications promptly. I am a native of WV. I moved to Knoxville in 1996, and now spend quite a bit of time in Matthews, NC when I'm not traveling or coming to the lake. My wife, Kelly, and I have 3 boys between the two of us. My son is 24 and her twin boys are 19. We bought this lake house to have a place for our boys and their friends to enjoy and of course for us to have a peaceful place to get away together as a couple. What better place than the lake?

Why they chose this property

I have always dreamed of having a lake house. I have looked at different places for years. When we saw this house in early 2022, we knew that this was the house for us. We have spent the summer working to make it better as we make it our own. The house is not always used, so we decided to rent it out part time. I try to pay attention to detail and my goal is to make this place as comfortable as possible for families who want to enjoy a fun time at the lake.

What makes this property unique

Our home is located in a quiet cove off of a cove. Not many boats come back this far. The dock is yours to use, so bring your boat or jet ski, fish off the dock, float around in the cove, take out the provided kayaks and paddle boards or just enjoy the peacefulness and contentment of being near the water.
