It was so awesome! The house and the views were amazing! The kitchen was five star and we cooked all our meals in! Easy check in and great correspondence! I would come back here to stay!

It was a beautiful home with a spectacular view. Unfortunately due to damage from the previous tenants we had a late check in, broken seating and banister and no grill.
A great house in a great central location for exploring. Everything was as advertised and we had everything we needed. Port de Grave is a beautiful little fishing village within walking distance, as is Green Point Lighthouse. We stayed for 4 days and did day trips to Bonavista, around the Irish Loop, and to Cape Fear before an evening in Quidi Vidi and St. John's. This is a great spot if you want to see lots without having to move houses. We visited Mad Rock Cafe in Bay Roberts for lunch one day and toured around Mad Rocks. Mad Rock Cafe is a MUST!Gordon was very responsive and ensured we had everything we needed. The house and location are great! Would definitely stay here again.
Well designed home ,very cozy atmosphere to ride out a little winter storm our first night there. Kitchen is well equipped for those who want to cook. Only disappointment during our visit was the hot tub wasn’t working but that was beyond the control of the property manager and we were offered a discount .
The view was spectacular. The property manager Gordon was very responsive and helpful. The house was very modern and comfortable. We also enjoyed visiting Port de Grave. It is very pretty. I would highly recommend staying here.
When you book something online you are never really sure what you will get but a ith this property you are getting much more than you expected!!
Everything was perfect and we really felt at home. I could spend the entire day on the porch watching the whales play in the ocean.
This really is an amazing spot and we cannot wait to plan out next trip there!

A brand new salt box house: it's bright, airy, got loads on windows, and fabulous ceilings (yes, ceilings: I'm a bit of architecture nerd). Visitors should be aware that a salt box design requires a steep staircase, and, yes, the staircase is steep. It's also extremely well lit, girded with rails, and designed with good deep steps with raised edges. I felt safe on it, even when my arthritis meant I had to walk sideways down the steps with both hands on the rail. The house itself is lovely and snug, very desirable when you're perched on the side of a cliff -- it can get really window. If needed, the propane fireplace warms up quickly. And speaking of the cliff: the view! Oh, the view out the back, easily enjoyed from the wide deck, serves up everything I love best about Newfoundland: the ocean and rock that feel so ancient and strong, and the sky never still, even when it's all blue. And the fresh air? A tonic, an utter tonic.
