Resting Beach Place by GSVR | Beachfront Home w/ Pool, Game Room/Theater + FREE Activities/Golf

Resting Beach Place has everything you could want, and more with a big living area, dining space for everyone, a game room, a theater room and 11 bedrooms, each with a private bath. Outside you'll enjoy a beachfront deck complete with private pool that can be heated from October to May for $60 per day, lounge chairs, even a pool bath for your convenience, and a dune walkover.

Plus you'll have FREE Golf and Activities every day of your stay to make it even better (value of up to $700/day).

The main floor features a huge great room with plenty of gathering space for everyone to eat together. The kitchen features 3 full size refrigerators, 2 dishwashers, 2 ranges, a large commercial ice machine just off the kitchen and a long breakfast bar. You'll find a game room with billiards, a shuffleboard table, and a video game table. There are also 3 full sized arcade games in the entry hall. Beyond that you'll find a theater room with comfortable seating and 3 main floor bedrooms including a handicap accessible King bedroom and bath with a roll-in shower, a second King bedroom, and a room with a Full over Full Bunk. There is also a half bath on this floor (in addition to the half bath outside by the pool).

The top floor has 8 additional bedrooms including 2 beachfront King bedrooms, 3 additional Kings, a room with 2 Queens, and 2 bunkrooms, each with 2 Fulls and 2 Twin beds.

Beautiful Beachfront!

Our staff team enjoyed our stay during a local conference. Some of the rooms were a bit small, but it's a lovely house and we would stay again if we're ever back in the area.

Lol- This is not your average review! This is a great location but we had major issues during our stay. Due to how they handled our complaints, they will forever have our business because they went above and beyond to make it right. Even though those issues occurred, our family will continue to book with Gulf Shores Vacation Rentals!

Our youngest son proposed to his girlfriend on the beach right out front of the house. The house was clean and had beautiful furnishings, very comfortable and plenty of rooms! Our grandsons loved the video game tables and all of us adults played a very lively game we call “Jungle” on the pool table each night. The kitchen had everything we needed for making meals....plenty of dishes and two dishwashers. We loved everything about this house and would love to come back!

Golf Shores Family Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really appreciated all of the free activities that this reservation came with! The home was clean and tidy when we arrived. We appreciated the ice machine and three refrigerators! We appreciated that maintenance came daily to check the pool and make minor repairs. The company handling our stay was very responsive and quick to replenish supplies that were near empty when we arrived; we have never rented from this service and had already bought more supplies by the time the new ones arrived. Understanding what comes with the reservation (restocked supplies or at least fully stocked supplies) may have been helpful, but we also may not have seen it in the description. A Rumba and/or properly functioning vacuum would be nice for main level up keep during the week; the vacuum that was there did not pick up dirt (there was no brook or mop), might have been accidentally left out because it didn't really work and did not have any hoses.We would have appreciated a large trash can by the pool area and 2 bath towels per guest, as only one washer and one dryer worked. I think the cleaning service should have checked all TV/remotes to make sure they were working and refilled hand soap, etc. prior to our arrival. We had a big day planned on Tuesday and woke up to no hot water and no gas to cook; this of course changed our day and added additional stress & expenses that were not expected (33 people out to eat instead of planned breakfast at the house, rescheduling plans, etc.). All in all it was a great stay and I highly recommend this company and place! Hopefully someone will reach out to discuss the propane issue and compensate us for the inconvenience!

We really enjoyed the game room with arcade games, pool table and shuffle board. Our favorite was the movie room. We watched movies every night and it was great on the rainy days. So many great things about this house I can’t list them all. Already planning on booking for next year.
