12BR 14BA Incredibly upscale beachfront home. Private & Community Pools. Elevator. Icemakers and fridges, all floors. Wow!

These homes are always full. We own Emerald, Sapphire and Diamond, all right next door to each other. Sapphire and Emerald are the identical 12BRs. More of...more! Get two. 24 bedrooms. Why not?! Diamond (10BR) too. Side x side x side! 34 bedrooms... All 3 were fully booked last summer and all the major holidays almost a year in advance, sometimes two for our repeat guests! Act quick!

Sapphire is a 12 bedroom family-friendly luxury beach home located directly on the beach in an exclusive, gated community with zero-entry pools. Handicapped accessible features. Elevators. Community firepit. The perfect vacation home for large groups, or small ones that like lots of space!

There are 3 beach side living rooms, one on each floor, in this home. Need a beverage? There are wet bars with mini-fridges and stand-alone ice-makers in the second and third floor living rooms so you can save yourself the trip down the stairs (or elevator!). Each floor also has its own washer and dryer because when you are on vacation why would you want to carry your clothes up and down the stairs (or in the elevator) more than you absolutely have to!?

In addition to the community pool, Sapphire at the Cottages at Romar also has its own private, elevated dipping pool at living room level. Sit in your living room, watch your kids play in the pool outside, how cool is that!? Or enjoy that beverage overlooking the gulf!

And if 12 bedrooms is just a little too big for you, check out Diamond, a 10 bedroom home right next door, or any of our other wonderful family-owned homes. Sapphire and Sapphire are identical 12 BR units, so if you want to sleep up to 88, well, that'd do it! Or more than 115 in all 3...

Please note that the Cottages at Romar neighborhood association has determined that no weddings or special events may be hosted in the property. This is applicable to our Jewels by the Sea. However, although you cannot host weddings or special events at the Diamond, Emerald, or Sapphire, you certainly can stay there during your trip and enjoy these large homes, their luxury, and the terrific neighborhood amenities.

You'll love staying at the Sapphire at the Cottages at Romar. You'll wish you never had to go home. If you don't book early, you'll stop by wishing you could be here.

We have a number of smaller places as well, and also bigger: like taking 2 sides of a very nice duplex to get 20 (twenty!) bedrooms.

Added a propane gas pool heater, so YES the pool is heatable to a maximum of 82' (the high side of recommended rec pool temps) to take the chill off! This service is by request in advance with a per night surcharge for length of stay (gas is expensive right now, this does not actually recoup the cost!). Fee subject to change due to incredibly high gas rates right now. Any online quote will show the optional fee and its current pricing. You may also add it after booking by simply requesting the pool be heated any time after making the reservation and at least a few days before check in so we can get it on before you arrive. We rented this for spring break. We had 8 families, 24 bodies total and we have plenty of room. The house was everything and more! The view. ❤️The house🙌. The location⭐️We will be back. We loved it and we even contacted the owners/rental company to extend our stay. Great house! Book it ✔️

Sapphire was perfect!

For my 40th birthday, which fell on Good Friday, all I wanted was to wake up in my favorite place with my favorite people. That I did! I took the opportunity with the long Easter weekend to capitalize on my wish! My family along with some of our dearest friends and their families came and celebrated over the long weekend. The house was perfect! The kids enjoyed all bunking together in the bunk rooms and the adults enjoyed private rooms. :) My sister and brother-in-law made the most amazing birthday dinner for all 36 of us and it was the perfect place to gather and celebrate together. My husband is a musician, so he rented a keyboard and on Easter morning, we gathered on the deck (wrapped in blankets!) for our own Easter service where he led us in worship and another friend read the scripture and liturgy. We followed by lunch and an Easter egg hunt on the beach. It was an absolute dream. One of my friend's daughter asked if we could come again for my 40th and one month birthday. LOL. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Favorite house yet

Overall we truly enjoyed the house, which is obvious since we already rebooked it for next year! This was our 6th year to host this beach trip, and everyone said it was by far their favorite house yet. Honestly I can see our annual trip growing to a place of needing to book both Sapphire and Emerald for the same dates. Maybe even diamond as well, in the future.

I love this home, and the location. The dipping pool on the deck is great, and the community one is perfect for taking a break from the beaches!
