Beautiful property, lots of fun stuff to do. Wild life was really cool, and the sky at night is insane. Can’t wait to come back next year for our eleven point trip!
We enjoyed our time at the house. It was just as advertised. A heavy storm hit just as we were about to arrive. This caused a tree to fall across the road about 100 yds from the driveway. I was able to get ahold of Summer and she made arrangements with a neighbor to come clear the road. Under the circumstances, we greatly appreciated Summer arranging the help of the neighbors.
perfect little cabin in a perfect location :) we enjoyed the nearby river and hiking. the cabin had everything you could need and was far enough away that we could let our pup run off leash without worry!.
Had a great time. Really nice place, great to have WiFi. If you have AT&T the WiFi in area is not the greatest. You will have if At the house. Enjoyed visiting, hiking Mark Twain National Forest. The host was so kind and helpful. Family enjoyed the little getaway.
Excellent wilderness location for those who enjoy scenic outdoor activities.House was extremely well equipped with comfortable furniture and beds. All appliances were modern, clean, and worked very well. Broadband internet was excellent speed and reliable.Communication with host was excellent and helpful throughout the stay.Couldn't have asked for a better spot for a nice, relaxing getaway. Thanks Summer!
It was a beautiful, scenic location. There was a lot of wildlife to see and experience. The house was well kept and well stocked. It made thw first day much more relaxing. I highly recommend this home for a beautiful get away.
It is peaceful, quiet, comfortable, convenient to floating the 11 Point & venturing to other Springs nearby, close enough to a town, hidden down one heck of a long road but worth it. Take it slow!
We were looking for a secluded getaway and we were not disappointed. We enjoyed the local hiki ng trails, with Greer Springs being our favorite. The cabin was really big and well maintained. Lots of extras were provided. We saw a lot of deer and birds but our favorite was the large skunk that made its way back and fourth during the evening in the meadow across the back fence line. We would stay here again.
The property was exactly as described. Way out in the middle of nowhere so we could see lots of stars without much light pollution at all! That is the main reason we selected this house. The house was clean and even stocked with extra goodies (s'mores, etc). The owner is EXCELLENT with communication, often answering right away any questions I had. I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a serious secluded getaway (with nice little additions like wifi and tv). The ONLY downside was the 2 mile back road that was a little touchy in spots because it had just rained. But our van made it through without getting stuck.
Stayed at Summer’s cabin for our sons 8th birthday trip, where we floated the beautiful Eleven Point River. The home was bright and inviting, well kept, updated with cute modern farmhouse furniture and decor, and fully stocked with everything we needed, from extra pillows, to pots and pans. We made s’mores, played games (some of which the hosts kindly provided!), and enjoyed the wildlife all around us. We counted a total of 9 deer right outside the windows. Along with a groundhog, an armadillo, and countless birds. We would highly recommend this stay to anyone who doesn’t mind a little seclusion from the world, and wants some unplugged, intimate time with their loved ones.
Thanks again Summer!
