Vacation Home "Inselliebe" in Keitum on Sylt

This beautiful half-timbered double house with thatched roof in Keitum is now part of the exclusive properties offered by Sylt Sotheby's International Realty. It underwent extensive core renovations and high-quality remodeling in 2018/2019 and is located in a quiet area in the charming village of Keitum.

Features

The vacation home on Sylt has three floors and provides sufficient space for 4 to 6 people on approximately 100 m². The room layout allows for ample retreat options. Elegant box-spring double beds from Treca in the two bedrooms upstairs invite you to relax and dream. Four allergy pillows and duvets, as well as four down pillows and duvets, are available.

The kitchen is filled with natural light and equipped with a high-quality carpentry kitchen featuring the latest kitchen appliances. In addition to ample storage space, it includes a Siemens ceramic hob and oven. A Miele washer-dryer is also integrated into the kitchen.

The open-designed ground floor with living and dining areas, along with the connected kitchen, invites you to cozy gatherings. From the dining area, you have a view of the natural stone terrace and the well-maintained garden, facing south. It is furnished with a teakwood dining table and chairs and is not visible from the outside, allowing you to relax in the sun and feel at home.

The vacation home is also suitable for the quieter winter season on Sylt, as the fireplace in the living area provides comforting warmth on cold days. The sauna, located right next to the stone-tiled bathroom upstairs, invites relaxation.

Lovingly selected accessories throughout the vacation home create a cozy atmosphere. State-of-the-art flat-screen TVs with Netflix connection are present in each room. Wi-Fi is available throughout the house. A private parking space is located directly to the left in the driveway.

History

Keitum – the green heart of the island

Keitum is an old captain's village that was the main town of the island Sylt until the mid-19th century. The island village captivates holidaymakers with its elegant and tradition-rich charm within moments. Nowhere else can you find a more idyllic maze of narrow streets and alleys lined with old trees. Here, celebrities meet North Frisian originals, exclusive locations meet village atmosphere.

In the midst of this diverse contrast, the vacation home is located in Westernhörn, just a few steps from the town center. Hidden paths and shaded trails invite you to short or extensive walks through the village. The former residence of the captains now fittingly bears the nickname "The green heart of the island." Geographically, Keitum is situated between the westward Westerland and the southern Morsum.

To dive into the holiday feeling right away, a comfortable nest awaits you upon arrival: The beds are freshly made, and per person, you receive two towels, two bath towels, a bath mat, and a kitchen towel. For this, we charge a fee of 25,- euros per person (excluding children under 3 years). For good health reasons, the laundry packages are mandatory when booking.

We also want to inform you: A spa tax is levied on adult guests on the island of Sylt. We calculate this fee with your booking and directly pay it to the municipality – your guest cards will be in your holiday home upon arrival. We charge a fee of 29,- euros for your booking.
