Flooring a big issue. Not enough kitchen amenities and what was, there needed to be thrown away. Oven not usable. Chair in living room needs to go to dump. Cute place with lots of fun decorations but basic items need to be replaced.
We had a very comfortable stay here and really felt at home. The house had most of the conveniences you would want, which made it easy to settle in and relax. While the property isn’t brand new and shows a little wear, it had all the comforts we needed and was absolutely worth the price. We especially enjoyed using the backyard patio and the grill, which worked well. When we ran out of propane, we were pleasantly surprised to find a new tank in the on-site shed, which made things very convenient. We also made good use of the washer and dryer during our stay. The owner was great to communicate with. Anytime I had a question or needed something, he responded in a relatively short amount of time. The location is very convenient too. The beach is only about six minutes away over the bridge, and it’s close to many other things in the area.Inside the home, the sheets were clean, the ice maker kept up with us, and the shower had plenty of hot water. Our only small concerns were that some of the flooring seemed a bit warped and the oven door was a little loose, but neither of these affected our stay in a major way.Overall, we were very comfortable here and would definitely stay again if we return to Melbourne.
