If beach walking is one of your passions, look no further for the perfect island accommodations. This 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom Captains Walk villa is located on the 1st floor, where a few steps down from the balcony will bring you to the beautiful landscaped grounds and onto the complex pool, the picturesque dunes, and miles of newly re-nourished beach.

On the right of the entry foyer is the fully-equipped kitchen and a small attached laundry room with a full-size washer & dryer. A dining/serving counter that is open to the adjoining dining area permits casual dining for 2, easy communication, and a view out to the ocean.

Straight through the foyer is the combined dining/living room, with the stylish and easy care hardwood flooring continuing into the formal dining area where there is a table with seating for 6. The living room section of the room features Berber carpeting, an overstuffed sofa and chair plus 2 additional side chairs, an armoire with 32" Flat screen TV/VCR/DVD, a front wall of windows with the ocean view, and a side slider door to the balcony.

To the left side of the foyer are a full bath, a bedroom with 2 full beds and a connecting door to the hall bath, the spacious master bedroom with a king-size bed, a Flat screen TV/DVD, a leather rocker/recliner, a full wall of windows with a slider to the balcony, a gorgeous ocean view, and a private bath.

Slice of Heaven

We absolutely loved staying at this unit. Very easy process for booking and checking in. This first floor condo was the perfect beach getaway for my husband and I who had not had a whole week to ourselves in a LONG time. The ocean front view was wonderful even though it was first floor. We especially enjoyed a magical moment when several deer came out of the dunes one morning to enjoy the beautiful sunrise with us. The short walk to the beach and pool were so convenient. The condo was very clean and spacious. No spices or salt and pepper provided in the kitchen so just a heads up on that but we didn’t cook but a few times while there. Palmetto Dunes is a gorgeous resort located center island and was convenient to everything and is a picturesque place to enjoy exploring, walking or biking. We enjoyed Alexander’s one night at the resort, a wonderful dining experience with a lagoon view. Of course there are tons of restaurants to choose from outside the resort as well. We’ve been vacationing to HHI off and on for 37 years and this condo by far is our favorite. We will be back!

Perfect Location

We always stay in Palmetto Dunes when we come to Hilton Head. 402 Captain’s Walk is my favorite rental! It is very close to the beach and the back porch sunrise view is awesome!

Great Location

This was our 5th year at this condo and we have alway had a great stay, this year was not so great. The carpet had some bad stains and uncomfortable amount of hair. The master shower had hair on the floor and walls. The sliding doors in living room had hand prints all over them. The dining table was extremely worn. With the increase in rates we will be looking for other accommodations.

Great time at HHI!

We had a lovely stay at this property! Even for the end of peak summer season, the property was clean and in great shape. It was recently updated and is tastefully decorated. The unit was close to the pool and beach entrance without being so close that you hear the noise of people at the pool, going in and out of the gate, etc. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend it to others!
