Kid Friendly

The stay here was good. Very clean and had more than enough kitchen stuff to do whatever was needed. Shower was amazing...I love good hot water with great water pressure . The community pool was nice as well. The ONLY thing I wish was better is if the upstairs had some sort of cushioning on the floor. With the games and things, you can hear every tap of the ice puck and the kids bout drove me crazy....lol. Other than that it was an excellent stay...and I'd stay again. Thanks again for your prompt communication.

There were a few things that didn't seem clean or neatly in order. The lighting in the bedrooms was very dim. The 3rd "bedroom" is a loft area and the futon/daybed wasn't the greatest. The other two bedrooms were roomy enough and comfortable. We did enjoy the pool, putt-putt, and the game room.

Nice Place to Stay!

We had a very nice stay at Joy cabin! The beds were very comfortable and the showers were great. The space was nice as well with a beautiful deck, chairs and hot tub. The cabin was also extremely clean which we appreciated. The property manager was very communicative as well. The location was perfect for us. The gaming equipment upstairs was dated and not in great repair but we were able to use it for the most part. It should be checked as there were briken pieces when we arrived. Again, not a deal breaker. Thanks Cabin Joy!

Great Cabin

We absolutely loved our cabin and loved getting to see the neighborhood bear !! On a side note the rockers on the back porch are a little wobbly… cleanest nicest hot tub of ANY cabin I’ve ever rented !

Perfect Family Getaway

Overall this property had a lot to offer the whole family. It unfortunately rained most of our stay but we were able to stay entertained with all of the on-site activities. I would definitely stay here again.

It was just what we needed for our family of 6! Cabin was very clean and kitchen well equipped to stay in for meals. Location was great for nearby restaurants and activities near Pigeon Forge. The views were beautiful!

Great Cabin

It was near everything in Pigeon Forge. Property was clean and very comfortable. Our teenager enjoyed the pool table. It could use more toilet paper and we only had one garbage bag. Besides that the place was great.

We really enjoyed this cabin! The bathrooms are in each of the lower level bedrooms. No separate bathroom for anyone staying on second level in loft. Pictures are a tad misleading as far as size of the place— bunk beds very close/on top of one another. Overall. Though, very happy. :)

Great location, and clean cabin. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Close to where you want to be, but also not in the middle of everything. Plenty of room in the cabin for everyone. Would Highly recommend!!!

June Trip

This was a beautiful cabin. It was a little difficult with kids because the bathrooms are inside bedrooms. So for the kids to use the bathrooms at night, it woke up the bedroom ppl due to them coming in and out. The host was very friendly and responded to emails quickly. The cabin was very clean and everything worked except the grill had not been cleaned out (bottom of the grill) and was caked in grease making it catch on fire when turned on and unusable.

Quick Getaway

Overall, the stay was great. The stove burners did not work adequately. We quickly let the owner know. The only downfall was that we could not turn the air down below 69. We did have two box fans for the loft, but it was still hot at night.

No, very pleased that the hot tub was very clean. The house was very clean just wished I had been essentials with the coffee pot maker in the mornings as well as essentials with the washing machine and dryer. Use as past days in rentals for the cost that you have to pay. Would’ve liked to seen more trash pads provided for cleanup. The dishwasher works very well but the dishwasher detergent leaves spots on dishes so that leaves you having to wash the dishes in the home more than twice.

Not what we expected

You can find a better cabin than this. Constant annoying problems popping up. It is not a luxury cabin. It is your typical BASIC cabin. Light bulbs burnt out in bedrooms, kitchen chandelier had 3 light bulbs out. Huge loft only had one lamp and it didn't work. Bedrooms only had one nightstand each. Not enough towels (about 6) and they felt like sandpaper. Bedsheets were maroon colored and did not fit the bed. Kept sliding off the corners. The comforters needed to be washed and smelt BAD! Good thing we brought our own blankets! The instructions says to take in grill pan to not attract bears, well there is no grill pan. Just a mat that was full of smelly grease. Nasty! We were there 5 nights and no one ever emptied the trash on the deck! It was hot and it smelled. We had trash bags piled up in the kitchen when we left. We were a family, so we cooked a lot. Skillets needed to be replaced. NOT ONE SHARP KNIFE! Knives (all 2 of them) were so dull you couldn't even cut a tomato. This was the worse kitchen set up for any cabin we have ever rented. Wanted to grill hotdogs and couldn't open a can of chili or cut up an onion. This was a basic cabin with no personal touches. The pool area was nice for one day. The other 4 days they had removed all the lounge chairs and you had to lay on the concrete. The water falls were turned off. We tried calling about the chairs, but no one answered. We heard from another family they took them to be restriped. Every one that came to the pool was very upset. A lot of seniors with families had no where to sit down. This was VERY upsetting and uncomfortable. It ruined the swimming pool experience. I have rented at least 12 - 15 cabins in the Smokies and this one was the worst. Keep looking!

The entire cabin was very clean. Communication was so easy. Julie responded almost immediately. She was gracious enough to allow us to check out late. Something to know about this cabin is that both bathrooms are in bedrooms. It wasn’t a problem for us though. The only complaint I have is the pillows were not good. A 3 Walmart pillow will fix that. But I’ll take a bad pillow anyday as long as I have a good mattress, which these were great! We enjoyed playing putt putt at the free little course. All the activities at the cabin were great as well. Pool table, air hockey, lots of Pac-Man and time in the hot tub made the stay memorable. We came in after dark and lost gps a couple times. You definitely want to screenshot her directions and use her recomended entrance. We would stay here again and use Julie as a host.
