Terrific accommodations and location

We arrived at this lovely house and found it clean, stocked with towels, kitchen utensils, and so on. Neighborhood lovely. Host easily and quickly reached via the VRBO portal. We would definitely book it again, and many thanks to our host for everything.

This property is in a great location just off the freeway and has gas stations, a cigar shop, coffee shops and grocery stores within 5 minutes. The back patio is adorable and clean. The house is adorable and clean.

There are a few older and younger trip hazards in the door ways. The broken toilet seat pinched a couple of us. The overall stay was great!

San Leandro

Came to visit my sister in Castro Valley. The location was excellent. Close to grocery, freeway access. Our only complaint would be the the first couple of nights we needed the auxiliary dehumidifier/heater. Needed emptying almoust hourly.

Quiet and safe place

Despite Oakland has its « reputation », we felt relatively safe and the neighbourhood was ok for 4 guys on a mountain bike trip. Gabriel and his wife are very cool and it was easy to contact them. The price was in consideration of these factors and it was perfect for us.

A nice comfortable house

We were so happy to stay in our old neighborhood. The beds are a little hard, but still comfortable and pillows were nice. The showers need a deep clean but were in pretty good shape. Rest of house was very clean. All the kitchen conveniences were great. An easy location in a great little neighborhood.

Very accomading

The house was wonderful. The only issuse was the ac. It kept shutting off when we would turn it on. Luckly it wasnt very hot the week we stayed. We looked up the brand of the ac unit and it was a common problem they keep shutting off. Thank you.

Perfect getaway

We loved the place. House is very spacious and cozy, very well equipped. Neighborhood is nice and quiet, with some really good restaurants and coffee shops close by. There's a grocery store half a mile away. Mattresses are bit too hard, so if you are used to soft ones your back might complain in the morning. There's a family with young kids next door who stay up pretty late playing in their backyard right next to the master bedroom window, so if you go to bed early it might be a problem. Of course we were there in July, during summer vacation. Overall we loved the place.
