We were visiting family in Gouverneur. The location is excellent. The unit was very clean and the kitchen and bathroom have been updated. The hosts were good communicators.
We also really appreciated the coffee and coffee maker!!!
The only down side is that I think that scented dryer sheets are used on the bedding. My husband didn't mind it, but I didn't care for it. But the unit worked fine for us for the days that we were there.
It was a perfect spot to stay for a couple of days. The one thing that was surprising was that the main bed was right off the main entrance and not shut off from the rest of the home. However, it was not a big deal and everything was really perfectly appointed and laid out. That could be challenging if you had a family that needed to get into the kitchen while other people were sleeping in the main room, but that was not our situation. Really clean. Plenty of towel towels. Very nicely appointed kitchen. The beds were comfortable. Great TV. And a massage chair! We even went out in the kayak! Definitely a small town. So restaurant options are limited, but we found everything we needed for the few days. We were there. Would stay again.
