Winter, spring, summer, or fall, you'll delight in the beautiful woodland setting of this cabin in Plymouth, ideally situated a short drive from world-class ski slopes, sparkling lakes, and some of the prettiest foliage you've ever seen.
This peaceful cabin is tucked into the forest less than eight miles southeast of Killington Ski Area (and even closer to the Skyeship Base Lodge). Here along the chain of lakes, Pico Mountain and Okemo Mountain are within a 15-mile drive while state parks, state forests, and scenic hiking trails await in every direction.
Walls of windows and multiple skylights seem to bring the woods into the living space. At the heart of the house is a two-sided, stacked-stone hearth, with a woodstove to warm you as you stream movies on the living room TV, share meals at the dining room table, or pull up a chair to the desk area to catch up on a few emails. In the pristine summer months, you'll have use of a back deck that runs the length of the house with a gas grill and a picnic table for alfresco meals.
Additional features include two bedrooms with forest views, a private washer/dryer, and complimentary WiFi throughout the house.

My Wife and I take a trip to Vermont every winter. This year we had our new 4 legged friend with us. Woodward Grove was a great place to stay. We liked having the woodstove going and the vinyl spinning. Also help we had the best ski conditions at Killington in years. Thanks for the stay!
Basic ski house, in cool spot. 10 mins from bear mtn. Would definitely stay here again.

Quarry across the street added floating noise from 8am to 4pm. Otherwise very tranquil. Ageing property needs TLC. Overall a good value in the cash cow vrbo business. Appreciate able to bring dog. Beautiful thunder falls down the street.

I could actually write my name in the dust on the furniture. The kitchen needs a new coffee maker, can opener and cups. The pantry had open spice containers exposed to the elements. I cleaned out open food items that were also exposed. The sink and fridge was dirty. I did not enjoy cleaning house when I got there!

Thank you for your review. We’re so sorry to hear about the condition of the home when you arrived — that’s definitely not the experience we want for our guests. It sounds like a few things were overlooked during cleaning, and we completely understand how frustrating it must have been to start your stay by tidying up. We’ve refunded your cleaning fee in full and shared your feedback with our local team to make sure everything is properly cleaned and stocked before future guests arrive. Thank you for letting us know — your comments really do help us improve, and we hope you’ll consider giving us another chance to provide the clean, comfortable stay you expected.

Great Weekend!
We had an amazing stay at Woodward Grove. The property is extremely private and beautifully surrounded by the forest. Just the Vermont get away we were looking for!
My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay. It is very private and had a beautiful view. It snowed the first two days of our visit and made the view even more beautiful.

Tranquility
Tucked away on a hillside and rural Vermont. It’s the perfect place to hear the sounds of nature and not see any humans but we did see a barred owl and some deer which was nice.
Perfect place to meet best friends at midway point. We had a BLAST with the turntable and albums. Wish there had been firewood. Comfortable and everything we needed.

Lovely Cabin!
This is such a great little cabin. The beds were comfortable, the living and dining room spaces were so nice to relax in with beautiful views out the big windows into the woods, and there are some great board games! The kitchen has pretty much everything you would need to cook meals. The location is great, close to multiple ski mountains and hiking trails, and maybe 25 mins to Rutland. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay here again the next time we are in the area

Cute home!
Our family of 4 had a good week at this cabin. Love that we were surrounded by thr trees. Fast wifi, smart tv and plenty of space. The bathroom is a bit dated. But good experience overall.
If you are looking to get away from city life this is the perfect escape. Small but quaint cabin. We loved all the large windows and the fact we could go for a walk for our dog and never have to worry about other people or cars. This really ilwas the perfect escape and if we needed anything the city was the perfect distance away. I would recommend thus to any of my friends and family.
The house was extremely cold! The common areas never got above 61 degrees. The thermostat was unreadable and the customer service representative advised me to get new batteries, which I did at my own expense. That made the thermostat readable, but it did not increase the temperature at all. We had to wear jackets, hats, and gloves indoors to stay warm. I was in touch with customer service three times about this issue and someone dropped off three small space heaters, one of which immediately blew a fuse in the house so there was no electricity in part of the house until we figured out where the fuse box was. Even making a fire in the wood stove fireplace (no wood was provided so we had to buy it) did not warm the room sufficiently. It was extremely uncomfortable and it was an overall miserable experience for us. On top of everything else, the house was also quite dirty. The kitchen cabinets were dirty, the floors were dusty, and there was a sticky spot on the coffee table that had dog hair stuck on it! It was the worst rental property experience that I have ever had!

Beautiful secluded home just like the pictures ! Loved the deck overlooking the trees and the large windows that opened to let the outside air in. Kitchen had everything needed utensils and cooking wise. Only thing Id mention is the abundance of daddy long legged spiders on the deck (you get what you get in the deep woods for bugs tho lol) and that there were carpenter ants near the trash the more it filled up. More just a heads up for the owners as those bugs eat the wood of the home.
100% would recommend and come back!
