Unpleasant Stay
We rented this unit for one night for our daughter's wedding. She and her bridesmaids spent the night at the house and got ready the morning of the wedding. At first glance, the place seemed great- we loved the open concept living room and multiple floors. However, the listing claimed the unit slept 12 and we could not figure out how 12 people could comfortably sleep in the unit; one bedroom had a king, another bedroom a king and a 3rd bedroom had a full trundle with a single bunkbed. There were also a few alarming things: the pendant light over the sink was shattered and looked as if it would fall at any second. The cover for the fireplace was missing. The curtains for the windows at the back of the house were taped up- they were not able to be opened or lifted. The front door was not accessible, the gate did not have a handle and would not open/close. After checkout we were sent a request for an additional charge of $200, then repeatedly sent emails demanding payment. We were later told this was a mistake but could also have been a scam.
The most alarming thing was the response from the host when we pointed out the issues; she was totally unprofessional and unkind. I would not recommend staying here, especially for the price.
