The spacious apartment is located in a beautiful historic forest house right on the edge of the forest. Enjoy the calm and wonderful air of the climatic health resort at the foot of the Brocken. From here you can immerse yourself in nature and hiking or enjoy the large garden.

The cozy apartment with 2 bedrooms and their various seating areas offers a variety of relaxation options.

The spacious bedrooms in room 1 have a large double bed. In room 2 there are two single beds. An additional bed can be added on request.

The living room invites you to chill out with two comfortable sofas and a seating area with three armchairs. There is a television (satellite) and a stereo system. Internet is available through a telecom hotspot.

The kitchen is separate - in addition to a kitchenette with two hot plates, coffee machine, kettle and microwave with grill function, the popular seating area is also used for game evenings.

In addition to the wash basin and toilet, the bathroom has a bathtub shower.

Entschleunigung am Waldesrand

Die abgeschiedene ruhige Lage am Ortsrand entsprach ziemlich genau unseren Vorstellungen. Die Ferienwohnung ist angenehm groß und ideal für eine Familie mit 2 Kindern. Einzig die im Inserat vorhandene Sauna sowie der Whirlpool der sich als Badewanne entpuppe irritierte ein wenig, ansonsten war das Urlaubserlebnis rund.

Vielen Dank für Ihre Bewertung. Sie hätten mich gern kontaktieren können, ich hatte im Inserat "Sauna und Whirlpool als buchbar im Nachbarhotel" angegeben. Dies ist eine Absprache, die ich mit dem Hotel Garni nebenan getroffen hatte und Ihnen auch zur Verfügung gestanden hätte. Es tut mir leid, wenn dies nicht verständlich war. Ich habe die Angabe aus der Beschreibung herausgenommen, um zukünftige Irritationen zu vermeiden.

Super Urlaub im Harz

Die Lage und Ausstattung der FeWo ist wie beschrieben, so durften wir schöne Stunden ohne negative Überraschungen verbringen. Toll wäre es jedoch, wenn in Zukunft WLAN zur Verfügung stehen würde. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin lief fernmündlich, sehr höflich, fürsorglich und reibungslos. Vielen lieben Dank für die Erholsamen Urlaubstage, wir kommen gerne wieder.

Idyllisch

D. Kommunikation m. d. Vermieterin war sehr freundlich u. verlief ausschl. digital. Auch d. Check-In verlief unkompliziert, kontaktlos u. coronakonform. D. Vermieterin wäre aber jederzeit auch telefonisch übers Handy bei größeren Problemen erreichbar gewesen. D. Wohnung liegt i. 1. Stock e. alten, kl. "Villa" umgeben v. Natur. D. Ort Schierke selbst ist deutlich ne Touristenhochburg, d. Haus liegt aber am Rande. Trotzdem ist alles fußläufig erreichbar, insb. kl. Supermarkt u. Bäcker. Es gibt mind. 2 gute Restaurants. Zudem (toll für Kinder) e. Sommerrodelbahn u. e. Art Fun-Parc-Arena. Zum Startpunkt zum Aufstieg d. Brockens braucht man ca 30 Min.. Die historische Dampflok hält u.a. auch in Schierke (auch ca 30 Min. Fußweg). Das Haus i. wie gesagt älter u. liegt am Waldrand, was es sehr gemütlich u. romantisch auf der einen Seite macht. Auf der anderen Seite muss man eben damit rechnen, dass die Natur entsprechend ihre Spuren hinterlässt (Auto a. d. Parkplatz übersät mit Vogelmist, i. d. Dämmerung aktives Tier auf dem Dachboden). Wir kamen a. ersten Tag, weil wir vorher noch in Wernigerode unterwegs waren, relativ spät in der Wohnung an, zudem war die letzte Maiwoche ungewöhnlich nasskalt. Entsprechend roch es im Hauseingang zunächst feucht-muffig u. d. Wohnung war anfangs noch sehr kalt. Unser Sohn hatte i. d. ersten Nacht etwas mit seinem Asthma zu kämpfen. Nachdem wir aber das Thermostat hochreguliert hatten, gab es diesbezüglich keine Probleme mehr. D. Wohnung ist großzügig geschnitten u ideal für z.B. ein Paar mit 2 Kindern, d.h. 1 Schlafzimmer mit großem Bett und 1 SZ mit 2 Einzelbetten. Unser 4-jähriger hat sich sehr am bereitstehenden Duplo/Lego erfreut. Das war ein großer Pluspunkt, denn so war d. Kleine beschäftigt, bis wir alles für die Ausflüge zusammenhatten. Desweiteren waren viele Spiele u. Bücher (auch für größere Kinder und Erwachsene) vorhanden. I. d Küche gibt es e. Sitzecke. Die Küche ist mit dem Nötigsten ausgestattet, es hätte sogar Kaffeepulver gegeben. Dass es keine Spülmaschine gibt, war uns vorab bewusst. Da wir aber im Prinzip dort nur gefrühstückt haben, hat uns das nicht gestört. Das Bad verfügt über eine Badewanne (groß) mit Duschkopf. Hier muss ich allerdings tatsächlich einen Stern abziehen. Das Wasser brauchte ewig zum warm werden u.d. Wasserdruck ließ deutlich nach, je wärmer man aufdreht. Ich brauchte Ewigkeiten, um d. Schampoo aus meinem mittellangem Haar zu waschen. Hier sollte nachgerüstet werden.

Sehr erholsame Woche im Harz

Die Fewo ist groß und gemütlich eingerichtet, sehr ruhig gelegen und der Garten ist ein Traum. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Auch wenn die Vermieterin selbst nicht vor Ort war, hat die Kommunikation super geklappt.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Familie Zeit in der Wohnung der Familie Grützmacher.

Sauberes Haus, sehr nette Vermieterin und eine Top-Lage. Direkt hinter dem Haus gehen Wanderwege los. Der Garten lädt zum Entspannen ein. Wunderbar!
