The home of Southern California author Eric G. Meeks, where he wrote some 20 books, many on desert lore. Browse the library of his collection while you walk the halls, refresh your spirit, and rejuvenate in the spa. It was built by Paul Troesdale in 1948, with brick interior walls, and is an exemplary exhibit of mid-century architecture,. Eric and Tracey Meeks have owned it since the end of the last century. They raised 1 natural, and seven adopted children in this lovingly maintained home.

• Four desert-cruiser bicycles to explore the surrounding city at a leisurely pace. Multiple bike paths extend from the edges of this residence, making downtown Palm Springs, the Tahquitz Creek paths, and the newly being developed Central Park-like environs of the Mesquite Desert Preserve are only minutes away.
• The kitchen is outfitted in chef worthy Bertozzoni appliances, some spices and oils are included as a starter kit, and sufficient cookware is provided, making your cooking experience a superior encounter.
• Vintage vinyl record player and some 20 classic albums, to play at your leisure. Feel welcome to bring your own and dance the days and nights during your stay.
• A comfortable heated pool, with floating lounges provided. A tanning deck for wading, and a spa. Chaise lounges litter the decking for pleasurable sunbathing.
• Large TVs in the living room and bedrooms. Wifi access to every streaming service with your own accounts. A collection of DVDs in the main room.
• Board games, a chess set, and jigsaw puzzles to help you while away the hours while you relax.
• An original, stacked brick barbecue, that only burns charcoal briquets, produces mouth-watering steaks, chicken, and fish upon demand. Two bags of briquets are provided.
