Lake View, Hillside Lakehouse, NOT Lakefront. Fully furnished vacation home sleeps 8-10, includes linens, cutlery, dishes, cooking utensils. Three bedroom, 1 bath, cozy cottage, large dine in kitchen and family room. Situated on beautiful Hamilton Lake Reservoir. Minutes to local boat launch access. Short walk down to semi wooded path to a private beach and dock. Enjoy swimming, fishing, boating, canoeing, jet skiing and more. On site paddle boats for your enjoyment. You have room on rental property for 2-3 cars as well as additional parking for any boat or jetski trailors. It is a peaceful relaxing area for families and other groups of up to eight. There are some wonderful local restaurants, antique stores, pubs, breweries,orchards, and golf courses as well as other attractions such as Historic Sturbridge Village and the Brimfield Antique fair. Enjoy the wonderful scenery, hiking trails at the Brimfield State Forest less than ten miles away as well the Nipmuck State Forest.


The house is built into the hillside and has three floors with exits on ground level on both the first and second floor. The lower level is a large family room area with fireplace, TV, VCR & DVD, Wifi. The second level contains two bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom and exits to a deck. The upper level is a bedroom with two twin beds and two queen size bed. . Children will enjoy diving and jumping into the lake from the dock or wading in from the beach area on an easy slant as well as use of a paddle boat. The lake is a full recreational lake so bring the water toys.

This is a lovely cottage, very clean and well stocked for every need.

Wonderful experience, would highly recommend staying at this cottage! Enjoyed staying there during Brimfield week.

The property is very clean and cozy. Some basic essentials are provided, which is great!

We have stayed at this rental for several years as we do the Brimfield show. The landlords are very easy to work with and quick to respond to questions. The house has been great for us to stay there,and we hope to enjoy the house in the future!

This is our second time visiting this lovely cottage. We have enjoyed our stay both times. The cottage is very comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. It is in a great location, very peceful, but still close to lots of attractions, like Boston and Six Flags New England. Thanks again Elaine and family.

Great spot to stay

We had a great time at this cottage. It really reminded me of the cottage we had as a family growing up. Elaine was great about getting back to me with any questions I had, and we loved the little beach area we had access to. The cottage was stocked with everything we needed or wanted. Very cozy!

Thanks for a great stay in this cozy cabin. There was just two of us, and our dogs, but there is plenty of room for the whole family. It was equipped with everything we needed. The owner was very sweet & helpful. I loved that our furry kids were welcome. I would definitely recommend it to a friend.

Cozy lake get away

Had a fantastic time on the lake. Quiet neighborhood, although houses are close together. Everything you need was in the house. Nice big grill. Plenty of supplies to cook with although lots of options in Sturbridge as well. Everyone had a great time fishing and kayaking all week. Even enjoyed watching all the birds at the bird feeder and even a fox from time to time. Great place to hang hammocks up too!

Beautiful peaceful retreat

My wife and I travel to Massachusetts every other summer from North Carolina to visit family. I always dreaded the trip, going from place to place always on the go was not my idea of vacation. This summer we rented this house and people came to visit us. We have family from Southwick Ma to Lowell MA and everywhere in between and it is a very central location in MA. The house had more than enough room for our large family and we loved the outdoor space! It was clean and well stocked and I am looking forward to our next trip. Thank you for renting your home so others may enjoy it!

Nice Getaway

This place was excellent for our stay on a boys getaway. Had some good moments and a great memory. Elaine provided everything we needed and then some. All the amenities including wireless access. All the dishes, pots and pans we needed to fix the groceries we bought for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The best part about the two day hiatus was nobody bothered us and the owner was available through a phone call. We didnt experience any problems and I only had to call once just to find out about recycling. Would definitely repeat, as this is a place where anyone can relax and take a scroll down to the lake and sit for hours if needed or sit out on the deck up top or down below. Neighbors were there but couldnt really tell they were. Seemed like a friendly place to be. We enjoyed our stay at this place and thank the owners for making it feel just like a home away from home.

Great house with very kind owners!

We stayed at the Cozy Hillside Lakehouse for 2 nights in May of 2015. There were 8 of us total; 2 families, each with 2 children. We also were able to bring along our 2 small dogs! We had a wonderful time! The children all had their own beds on the upper level of the house which is one large open room. The kids LOVED this! Both couples had private bedrooms on the main level of the house. There is a full kitchen that we were able to prepare all our meals in… plus a grill on the deck that we used and an outdoor patio table that was great to eat out on. The house has 2 fire pits, one outside the house and the other down by the water… we used both! The house also has its own boat dock and peddle boats that we were able to use. We all loved swimming, fishing and using the boats! The beach was a little further away than I had expected, only about a 1-2 minute walk, but down a very steep hill. The children were playing around the house and accidently broke a window. I notified the owners who were so understanding about the situation and even sent over a family member to make sure the window was secured/safe so no one would get hurt while we were there (it was a holiday weekend and no hardware stores were open). I would recommend this house to anyone and I look forward to staying again. Not just because we enjoyed the house but because of how incredibly kind the owners treated us.

We spent amazing weekend at the hill house. It was our second stay at this house and we will definitely be back. We love the lake there is many fish you can’t be bored.

It’s pink!

Very cute little property. Was nice having the upstairs as a kids’ room, when they went to bed the adults hung out on the lowest level. The view of the lake was lovely, wish we could’ve gone on the dock but wasn’t open for the season yet. Ample towels, dishes, utensils etc. My hope is that you keep it pink, it looks so fabulous and unique!

Property was as stated. Plenty of room in the home and outside. Lake area was beautiful and peaceful and a real treat in the fall. Home was fully stocked with anything you would need. No complaints at all. Summer would be amazing with the short walk down the hill to the lake. Would stay again.

nice stay in a nice place

It was great and worked out nicely. Unfortunately the first night we were there, a branch broke off a dead dead tree directly above the parking area near the house, and smashed the front windshield + small dent in one of our cars. Your property manager has been very helpful in trying to resolve the issue, sending us insurance claim info. We appreciate the responsiveness. Hopefully this will get resolved. Overall the stay was great.

Lake house

The property was clean and amenities as described on website. It’s not directly on lake rather on hill with a very short walk downhill to lake. We enjoyed brimfield antique show which was a short 13 min drive. We enjoyed relaxing!

Perfect for a weekend stay

My friends and I were in town for an archery tournament. The sleeping arrangements worked out perfectly. We enjoyed the fire pit after long days at the tournament. Thanks for the great stay!
