The space was perfect for our stay. We needed a space to cook and sleep, but this little apartment would have been great for a longer stay. Very comfortable with a friendly host. Lots of interesting surprises to find throughout the place.

A charming stay

This was a charming little apartment with a unique steam punk alien theme. If you have a playful mindset, I highly recommend staying at this location. I couldn’t have been more overjoyed with my stay.

Wedding stay

My wife, daughter and I stayed here given we were attending a family wedding at Lord Thompson Manor, one mile away. We had a blast playing with the dog, chickens, goats and owners, who were all terrific. The place was clean, fun, affordable and comfortable. Highly recommend this location.

With no exaggeration, the coolest VRBO I've ever stayed at. The amount of detail the host put into the property is hard to overstate. My only regret is not booking enough time to enjoy the work he put into all this.

Michael’s property is so much fun! I stayed there with my two grandsons, and they loved all the gadgets and surprises in the steampunk bunkhouse. They also loved spending time with the goats and the sheep, and Michael was so kind about showing them around. This is an ideal stay for whimsical adults and for people with children. The entire property is very pretty, and there are some walks that you didn’t take, but lots of opportunity to enjoy the outdoors as well as the indoors.

New Years overnight

Stayed here NYE because it was close to an event we were going to. Such a cute farm! Michael was a great host and was very friendly, responsive, and accommodating. He greeted us and took us to meet his sweet goats and sheep! The steampunk house was unique with surprises everywhere. Very happy with our stay!sweet

The Steampunk house was delightful. A new surprise in every cabinet and room. Accommodations were very comfortable. A couple of suggestions - improve the internet access and TV options. More dishes. But otherwise wonderful.

First of all, exactly how pictured and even better in person. So much care and love was put into making this place amazing and enjoyable. My daughter and I had a blast checking out all cabinets, drawers, wall experiences and floor boards. Secondly, basic supplies are provided (ie sugar, coffee filters, S&P, etc) with the stay. What a difference that makes not having to bring or purchase a bunch of supplies for a short period. There are also paths around the property with a map you can follow to find surprises. Great property with so many extras provided.Had a blast and would recommend to any one with or without children!!!

Michael greeted us warmly and showed us around but didn't give away all the surprises (so I won't, either). This place is full of whimsy and imaginative joy! Great for kids or just the young of spirit. We were so sad we were only staying for 1 night and are already planning when to return and stay longer. HIGHLY recommend staying here!
